  • Pure unresponsible & dwn rite silly u hve to thnk about these kuds gettin jobs true store my granny owned a hair salon & she had ths customer who was pregnant with twins a boy & girl & she actually named thm Marijuana (girl) & Cocaine (boy) so sad
  • girl graduated with me named Mary-Jane....sounds normal but her parents were known hippies.
  • It depends on the reasoning I guess but I just can't think of any reason to name your child after an illegal substance unless of course you hope to have your child use it as an excuse to use..

I think its fine. I have a bestie Tequilia we call her TQ and a niece named Kristyle Charnae. Kane is also popular which can derive from the bible or cocaine.
  • @kbg10 that is sooooo sad!
  • Thats like naming your child apple, or bentley. Parents these days
  • I know a lady who named h er son Martell alize', and a daughter named chardonay,..
  • Might as well name them
    Weed
    Bud light
    Corona
    Miller light
    Jack daniels
    Scotch
    Crystal meth
    Powder

    Come on! Seriously?

  • able was the good brother not caine in the bible
  • my husbands cousin named her son Nemo Kronic
  • @caroline8_p haha Matthew mchaugnahey or however u spell it his brother named his kid miller lyte its f**keep up but its kinda funny when its not your kid celebrities have named there kids the craziest things but when ur growing up a rich kid u can have any name and everyone still wants to be your friend lol
  • Lol @babyboyontheway yea, if I was rich and famous, I wouldn't care either. Still gunna have fans and still ginna make money.. its like naming your kid being named bin laden! Geez
  • I think people are starting to name they're kids in a manner that would be ok for pets like my dog is named bentley, even though people r starting to name they're kids bentley after teen mom, and i knew a guy who named his dog kilo and another friend name her dog tequila but its not ok for humans who r going to be applying for jobs someday
  • I know.. I love having a normal name!
  • My sons name will be pronounced kilo - lorenzo but with difrent spelling
  • Not drug relatrd, but just as bad I know someone who named their son "Young Gangster Luciano" =/

What if this kid grows up and wants to be a politician? He'll never be taken serious with a name like that.

I just want to take a second to stick up for those kids and people who do have these kinds of names. My friend tequilia works as a v.p. in a bank and is a very smart strong woman. Not fair to lump all thesee kids/people into a stereotype.

  • I just don't like people saying they will never be able to find a real or decent job... I call that stereo typing ....

  • I understand fully I personally would never name my baby a weird name but think that a name does not disable the child that's all. A lot of circumstances can effect someone getting hired although illegal its still goes on. Race, religion. In my case I live in a small town and cousin busted for heroin not my last name sometimes screws me out of certain jobs. I don't wantto work for or with predjudice people like that anyways.
  • @babyboyontheway I have a dog named Bentley too! I named my dog after teen mom came out though lol I thought it was a cute name but for my dog lol
  • I think they were trying to say that its the employers that might over look someone with a non traditional name and not look at the person for what they offer. Not saying that they will be bad because of the name. But people do judge based on names and culture more than qualifications. Sad but true.
