chorid plexus cysts. im scared

I had my first ultrasound today at 14 weeks. Everything was perfect until she told me she saw cysts in the baby's head. She kept not to worry but that she wanted a level 2 ultrasound. I don't care what she said I'm worried as Hell. These cysts could mean down syndrome or trisomy 18. The baby could still be perfectly healthy but until they tell me anything definitive I feel like a wreck. Has anybody else had to deal with this?

I Googled it too and even though there's only a small chance its still scary. It doesn't change how I feel about my baby 1 bit. I had originally opted out of having the screenings because regardless of the results I intended to keep the baby. But no, nothing has changed for me. I can only hope and pray for the best.

I didn't see them. Everything looked fine to me. I called to make an appointment for a level 2 ultrasound to get a better look. I'm hoping they can tell me more.

I was told my baby has that also at 17 weeks. Scared the hell out of me. We didnt have any bloodwork or tests done, because it is what it is and were guna love the baby no matter whar. Plus my doc said there are many false positives. He also took a look for himself and assured me there were no other signs of downs syndrom they can usually see different things with the liver heart and feet but he said everything lookd perfectly normal. Im my next ultradound may 4th and ill be 28wks. Im using positive thinking convincing myself its nothing!...goodluck to u and baby!
