Good luck sweetie. Your iv shouldn't hurt ask to have it checked and moved if need bbe ask for a different nurse to do it. I hope everything gets better for you soon.
Wow, I am sorry about the bad dreams, just know that isn't what is to come. We are all cheering for you and or praying for you and your little baby! Keep us updated and stay calm mama!
Not much has changed. My dr came in about 30 minutes ago and basically just said what i thought he would-that I'm not going home because of the 3 instances last night, and if/when i do go home i will have to be sent to perinatologist until birth, and that I'm obviously going to have to follow up with a cardiologists when he is born. I understand why they don't excatly want to deliver now, but i don't understand why they would rather keep me stuck to this bed day after day when nothing is gettting better with my baby and should probably just deliver. I'm going to ask when they come back. My dr will be by this afternoon after his office appointments. I can't even walk around or anything because i have to stay on the monitor. Day 3 now and I'm getting really-whats the word- bedsick? I just need to get up and get out i need some fresh air and to move my legs a little. My Aunt and Dad are coming in a little bit I'm going to see if i can get up and walk around when they get here. Will keep everyone posted when i find anything else out.
I agree you shouold def ask your doctor why you can't go ahead and deliver. It seems to me like baby boy would do better out where he can be monitered. Still praying for you and the little man stay strong.
I'm so sorry you have to stay there for so long. You and your little one are in my thoughts. They probably figure since they can keep track of everything while he's in the womb it's safer to keep him in as long as he can so he's as strong as possible when he's born. At least that limits the chance of him having a possible heart problem AND underdeveloped lungs. Especially if there's any chance of him needing surgery.
Im praying for you be strong momma... don't be afraid to ask for things that will make you more comfortable at the end of all this crap you will have your baby boy
@Proudmommy8789 yes i am able to get up to use the bathroom and take a shower in the morning but that's IT, however i might have lost my shower privelige because this morning i was in there and got very lightheaded/dizzy and started seeing ligjhts so i got out and was clammy n sweaty for a while. We don't know why, but it passed eventually.
@angelsmommy@magcaw my dr will be in within the hour, and I'm going to ask how long he will let this continue before delivering, but i was talking to the nurse and she was saying what magcaw said, that evrryday he is in utero is the best place for him, and a day in my tummy is better than a day in nicu. The only reason they would emergency deliver right this day is if his heart rate drops and DOESNT come back up. So far everytime it drops the nurses are able to help bring it back up by turnimg me, and oxygen if needed. They put an iv line in my wrist but haven't hooked me up to anything yet. Its more in me for an emergency at this point.
@everyone i will update as soon as i speak with the dr, which is any time now. My intuition is telling me its not much longer before i meet my baby. The nurses seem to be calmly and queitlu preparing everything for induction. The iv is in, the catheter and some other scary looking objects are collectimg on the shelf in my room. My Mom said they wouldn't have done these things if i wasn't close. They rnt telling me why as to not scare me, but I'm very aware of them and I'm not stupid. Much love pregly
I've followed ur updates as well I had a crazy 1st delivery 3days of labor....got sent home on morphine the last nite but shit it was all BC she came 3weeks early. I went back and the doc didn't even check mmee sed no pain meds go home its end of pregnancy discomfort but wen I was back that evening she sed o I guess u were in labor! I looked at her &sed HELL NO y'all better get someone else. Ur better then cos I wuda told them my thoughts!! Keep us updated ur in my thoughts &&prayers xoxo
this samething happened to my baby when i was only 19 weeks!!! i was suppose to stay in the hospital until she was due but they let me go two weeks later!!! everything turned out good in the end...i delivered her at 35 weeks exactly at midnight!!! you will be ok hun....i will be praying for you and just relax...i know its easier said than done but at least try!!!
