Baby is low

I had an ultrasound today and the tech said that the baby is really low, I'm only 27 weeks and I thought the baby drops low when it gets really close to giving birth. Is it normal for the baby to be low this early?

    I'm not sure but I'm 21 weeks everytime I get a ultrasound he's low. Also faced up And head down

    Ya I am 20 weeks and my boy is sitting really low still...I only can feel him kick/punch me right near my pelvis..I was gonna ask my doc at my next appt.
