Im 37weeks I have had to change my under 3 times in about 3 hours. There is no smell to it but im not having contractions. Is this possible? Water never broke with my other 4.
I feel like an idiot smelling my underwear. There is no order to it and no color either. I have been laying down for about a hour and they are wet again. I have a doc appt in the morning, should I just wait?
I say slow leak.. urine wud b smelly. ER? take no chances since your so far along.. I'm new at preg but thts sumthn I think shud b made aware of. I wouldn't b able to slp cuz i'd b so concerned.. goodluckk!
@momoflilones i would at least call the nurse line:) sometimes I get nervous and too excited thinking it is time lol i would wake him and ask him what he thinks
My cousin was 36 weeks and we were washing dishes and she thought she peed her self she changed and it happen again in 10 min. She said she started feeling pressure but no contractions and she went to ER and her water had broken and also while she was on her way their it happen again and also again when she was changing in to her robe
I would call and let them know you think you think you have a slow leak. I have had that with 3 of my babies. Wear a pad to collect it and when you go in they will test the fluid to see if it is or not, but call cause they don't want you to be in labor for more than 24 hours after water breaks due to risk of infection!
Sorry ladies it was a long night at the hospital. They sent me home cause my fluid was leaking enough and my contractions were not close enough together. On my way to see my midwife now. I was 50% effaced and 2cm . The nurse I had last night was a little spacey, so we will see what my midwife says.
I'm glad your going to see your midwife, cause after your water breaks they usually keep you, even if they have to give you pitocin to get your contractions going. Good luck, keep us informed!
