I have not had my baby yet, but I was told I have a Subchrionic hemetoma Sunday. It scares me :-| and basically it is a blood clot between the placenta and uterus.
@grnfish73 It's when you get a blood clot between the placenta, if it gets big enough the placenta can separate & cause miscarriage. If its small size it usually doesn't cause any damage to baby & they usually happen early on during pregnancy & disappear by 20weeks. & it can cause spotting
That's what I thought I had it with my first baby. It bleed when I was 12 wk and stopped bleeding around wk 16. Very scary. I was put on bed rest for that whole time. My doc at the time was an ass and said that my baby would not survive so don't get my hope high. I had a miscarriage before that pregnancy and that was the worse thing to tell me. BUT my baby is now 6 yrs old.
@grnfish73 yeah my doctor put me on bed rest until my next ultrasound in 2weeks to see if its gotten better. She was real cool about it though. She told me its real small & nothing to worry about & just to drink more fluids. I hope it goes away though, even though she told me not to worry..I'm still worried.lol
@grnfish73 what's a dnc? I hear it a lot but haven't asked what it is. & have you thought about switching doctors? I switched my doctors a couple of times until I found my match lol
A dnc is when you have miscarriage and the go in a "clean out" your uterus. This was 7 years ago and yes with my second I had a new doc. I'm on my third now.
I'm 21 weeks and bcuz I'm 38 yrs old now this one was not easy either. Had a Downs scare but had the amino done and all is good. And finally getting my girl.
@grnfish73 I'm 17weeks3days & not really showing, my stomach just looks a little bloated. People just kind of look at me with the "is she pregnant or is she just getting fat" look. I'm due September 11th
