The doc tested me for strep b and I tested positive I did some research on It I am terrified!!!! It can cause serious health issues and even stillbirth So scary doc said the only treatment is to get antibiotics during labor to try to prevent passing infection 2 baby

    Oh that is good 2 know! I don't understand how u can have it for one pregnancy and not another this is my first baby and I'm just afraid I'm not goin to know when its time to go to the hospital and it will b to late to get the antibiotics I am already 1 cm dialated the doc said I could go into labor ne day or it could b 2 weeks. Just so nervous now!

    I had it with my son also got antibiotics n he was perfectly healthy but understand why ur scared it is a scary infection nut the doctors will take care of u just remind them when ur in labor so u can get the antibiotics :) good luck hun

    Just an fyi there is one that can occur at birth but also another that can occur in the first month. I only know this because when I was at the hospital a doctor reported a 3 week patient of hers died from it but I dont know a lot about it. Just think that its better to have all the information.

    Not to worry :) I had it with my first. I delivered in 45 minutes and they still had time to administer the IV. It is scary for sure, but try not to worry, as you can see its very common xoxo
