How long until you pooped? I'm five days after birth. I feel like poop is hanging out my butt. But I can't poop. I sat on the toilet for 20 mins periodically pushing to try to poop. I have a stool softener from the hospital I'm taking. But i haven't pooped yet. I'm going nuts. I feel like poopy is hanging out and I have to go!!

I poopes pretty quick..i think 3 days after.. it will probably happen anytime..n its gun feel amazing!!!! thank god for stool.softeners!!

dont worry about it....i didnt poop for almost 7days...then not again for another 5....it will all get lined back out and you will b back 2 normal in no time!

@nalibby2 @vanalkr cuz I'm like in butt poop pain right now... that feeling like I have to poop sooooooo bad. But nothing is coming out.

Eat lots of grapes!! Youll go then! :-) thats what my doc had me eat after my csection!

5 to 7 days. It was painful. I ate prunes and drank prune juice

Augh! I feel miserable!! I don't have any prunes or prune juice here.now.. I ate grapes after.the.c section just cuz I like grapes... Haha. I passed gas a lot at the hospital... Wonder if we have grapes now... Red or.green? Does it matter? @mommyof3tobe

I had.my csecton yesterday and I pooped 3 times today but only after 2 suppository(sp).

I pooped on the third day at the hospital. They started giving me a laxative on the second day and morning of the third but nothing so I drank some prune juice (yuck) and went about 30 mins later.

But if u call your ob they might be able to perscribe u something especially if u get the drum sound if u tap on your tummy.
