Surgery tomorrow
So I just got a call from my doctor telling me I have been bumped up the list by my specialist for surgery tomorrow morning after reviewing my ultrasounds. That means after about 6 weeks of healing from my stab wound I am going to be back to square 1. I am so fricken depressed right now as I was supposed to be starting back to work on light office duties next week.
The surgery is to repair a section on my lung and surrounding muscle that hasn't repaired properly from initial surgery. All going well I will be only in hospital for 24hrs this time not 3 weeks lol. This has also caused the court hearing to most likely be pushed back as well since it should be in about 2 weeks since offender has changed to a guilty plea but I have to be present for sentencing to take place.
Now to tell the kids in the morning that daddy has to go back into hospital again should be fun. At least I got to spend today with my daughter for her 7th birthday yay.
