ADD preggos, anyone?

I have a problem. Prior to pregnancy, I was taking 40mg of adderall a day. The last time I took it was on Jan 12th when I found out I was pregnant. I work in sales where I have a quota to hit every two weeks and since January, I have not hit it. I am able to use my days off to lower my quota to prevent me from getting written up, but I am trying to save those for when baby is here and so I can have a Christmas break. I am completely unmotivated for anything! I am frustrated and overwhelmed! Anyone else in a similar situation? Any advice on what I could do to get thru this pregnancy and keep my job? Thanks in advance!

    So was I. My Dr said I can take it as long as I am being monitored.. ask ur dr.

    Me too. I am in school and am having the hardest time focusing and being motivated. But I am too afraid to take my medication while preggo...

    I'm severely ADHD, pre pregnancy I took 70mg of vyvanse in the morning and 15-20mg of adderall in the afternoon. I was a full time student but ended up having to drop my classes because I would leave and not remember a word my prof said. My doctor advised against taking it while pregnant. I wish I knew what to tell you to help. I'm pretty sure they can't fire you. That could be discrimination based on a disorder you can't control. Good luck to you

    @randrbrown I asked my ob who didn't know much about it so I went to my general practitioner today and he advised against it. I can get fired if I don't hit a certain percentage each month b/c that would be not performing my job requirements..I won't let that happen, but it is def tougher and I am making far less money this year :( if push comes to shove, I will get put on short term disability until after the baby comes and come back w a bang once I can start taking my meds again.
    @maranda3 thanks..it sucks doesn't it?! Ughh I never realized how bad it was until I saw how motivated I am on it. I've been off of it for 8 weeks now so I know it's not withdrawals.. good luck to you too!

    @lilpeapod913 I was taking adderall last may and got pregnant then miscarried...I blame the adderall because 3 months later I got pregnant again and I'm now 32 weeks along. I would not recommend taking at all...it can cause many problems while pregnant. I wouldn't take the chance.
