wat else should i have on my baby regestry?

I put a lot of the little things like dipers a diper disposal and such, but mostly baby bottles. Does anyone have a list they can spear. First baby, 5 weeks, 17 years old and have no clue besides wat iv seen in my baby cousins nursery.

    First you gotta know what kind of mom your gonna b. A clean freak where everything is put in place, one who wants the newest everything, or just a basic mommy.... swing, bassinet,high chair,bouncer,bottles,binky,crib,mattress,sheets,bibs,bathtub,bath stuff,safety kit with everything from nail clippers to medicinbinky,activity things,toys,car seat stroller... these are needs.

    I just went to babies r us and wandered around for 2 hours with my mom. I'm only 14 weeks so I'm just getting an idea of what I want. I like things that have multiple uses ie: a jogging stroller with speakers that is also a car seat and a crib that has storage and a changing table that folds up on top and it can become a playpen. I live in a tiny apartment so I need compact stuff. They are super helpful at babies r us and are totally willing to help :D

    @ victoriaB. Thats pretty much me too. All the expensive things me and my boyfriend r getting. I think I'm the type of mom that wants the nice new things lol.

    I love pack n plays with the bassinet and changing tables, its portable to move around and saves space. A swing is a life saver for my first!. A travel system. a baby monitor.

    I'd like to get a swing, but I don't think there's enough room for one :( I'm getting the pack n play and I'm gonna use it as a bed. Not enough room for a big wooden crib! It would be nice to live in a house so my baby has its own nursery, but I didn't want to wait to have a baby and I know that my tiny apartment will work just fine :) I want new stuff for my baby too. Older stuff can be dangerous. Drop side cribs kill babies and my mom was telling me about a graco stroller that amputated parents fingers! D:

    @VictoriaB they have small swings that are compact, some are a swing/bouncer, they are newer and I've never used one but they sound really nice

    @kkmommy I like the bouncers that hang in doorways. So cute! My mom has a video of me when I was a baby in one of those bouncers. My big diaper butt slipped through one of the leg holes. One foot touched the ground and the other was hiked way up. Freakin hilarious! Thanks for the info about the swing/bouncer. I'll look for one of those on my next trip to Babies R Us.

    hey dont kno if it will help but go on walmart.com and look for baby registry under marissa woodford you can see whats on my list. i have mostly essentials and gear

    Best thing you can do is go to a couple stores & look at everything or look online. Make sure you do your research, especially when choosing a car seat. If you buy a used one make sure it is less than 6 years old and has never been in an accident. If you're unsure, don't buy it. As far as bottles, don't get too many of one kind right away, baby may decide he/she doesn't like it & you may have to try a few to find what your baby likes. Good luck!

    I go to the baby store where u can sell back ur baby stuff. I got a really good deal on oneies got like 20 for $5 and some even had the tags on them still. Can't think of the name of the stores for the life of me. I forget everything now its sad...

    I did a lot of reviews before picking the things to put on my registry. There are so many car seats and strollersto choose from, those were the hardest because I didn't want the travel system (those strollers are too heavy for me). I put this on my registry: stroller, carseat, extra carseat base, diapers size 1 &2, wipes, swing, baby bath tub, crib, bottles, nursery bedding and decor, pacifiers, teethers, playpen

    Another place to look for cheap used baby stuff is craigslist.org look for a city near u. Good stuff!

    I was gonna suggest craigslist also! I got a super nice bassinet with new sheets for 60! It looks brand new was only used for 3 months purchasedlast summer :)
