Swollen girly parts! Help!

edited January 2013 in Second Trimester
Hey ladies! This is my second rodeo and I do not remember feeling this weight and pressure the first time around. My girl parts are swollen and I really can't stand for very long without being very uncomfortable! It just feels swollen and heavy and that's about it. Has anyone else dealt with this?? I'm sure it's normal, but just checking to see what others have done to help withit.. I am 24 weeks

  • This may be tmi but everytime after sex my lady bits would get so swollen and painful I couldn't clean myself properly...like it was unrecognizable lol my dr said it was due to the extra blood and stimulation which could also be caused by walking for some women...the only thing that gave me relief was either sit in the tub and relax or but ice in a wash rag or zip lock and put it directly on it close my legs angry take a nap
  • Yes! @firsttimemommy0928 I get that way too, and currently my girl parts are like that ALL THE TIME! Its really uncomfortable..I want my vag back! Lol
  • I would go crazy lol im not sure about long term relief since it never got brought up for me but maybe your dr can be more helpful at your next appt...hope you get some kind of relief though (:
  • @firsttimemommy0928 I was there yesterday and didn't talk to him about anything!! I had my toddler with me who was having a hard time so I was preoccupied and didn't think of anything..the appt was literally 5 minutes with the dr.
  • So needless to say, i don't goo back for 4 weeks!
  • I would forget to ask things during my appts to, so I started jotting a list of things I wanted to bring up every time they came up.
  • Nurse wants me to come in..I'm at work and can't/shouldn't leave. I didn't work Monday, left after an hour on Tuesday, and didn't work Thursday...
  • Oh and my bosses are both witches and aren't speaking to me..it's very pleasant here! @excitedforoctober
  • I had that but towards the end and it wasn't as uncomfortable as your discribing I didn't have problem walking or starting or anything. But the ice thing or bath sounds like good idea.
