Not what I had hoped but is something :)

I had a million plans for the taxes before my husband ended up jobless, but they came and I have been paying bills and debts , I'm not extremely happy but I am really glad that the money came in our time of need.

What are you ladies using your tax refunds on?

  • I know what you mean, we'll be mostly paying bills with ours and paying rent ahead rather than going on a vacation or something fun like that! Like you said, at least the money is there and it is a blessing to get it when needed.
  • Paying dr bills and other bills also!! Have u already gotten urs back??
  • @Wilsmom the word vacation is no where near my dictionary D; my two girls are nonstop haha. Yes I don't know where we would be without the tax refund, it always bails us out of debts.

@0811 yeah got it yesterday :)
  • Not sure wat were doin wit ours but wow how did u get it back so fast !?
  • Wow awesome.. when did u file??
  • @Mrz_Jackson
    @0811

We filed like 2 weeks ago with h&r block. We were really surprised that we got the money so fast since the person that did our taxes said that most people will get theirs late around feb 21 or the first days of April .
  • we filed our taxes on the 30th..but havent gotten them yet...but we plan on spending a little and saving a lot. i need a new macbook for school, clothes, and am buying more cloth diapers so i never have to use disposable again!
  • My husbands saving his... I'm not eligable for it. Never had a regular job and don't make enough to file.
  • New tires and tags for the van, hopefully getting the parts to fix our other car, paying off the remainder of one bill and saving the rest for rent.
  • Bills, car inspection, fill up our oil tank, then savings.
  • a bill : (
  • Pay back an uncle , save at least 600 for car payments baby stuff and save I guess not to exiting
  • We are paying 6 months of rent paying car off and paying my mom and bfs mom money or all the help they have done for us and then spending a lil on us n kids to get some new things :)
  • We got ours yesterday too. We are paying off a loan, the rest of our doctor bills, going to Fl for vacation, then putting the rest in savings.
  • Ours is going to be used to move into a house! I can't wait and then saving the rest.
  • We are paying off some stuff, then buying something fun with the rest
  • We are paying bills , both of us are getting new contacts and glasses(haven't had a new pair of glasses in like 6/7yrs) and then what's left, not much, will be going into savings and towards our vacation in June.
  • Ours is going to pay off my new ring, our new washers we got last year, and our credit cards. We will save a little though for a trip to Vegas in a few months :)
  • I get nothing :( I owe the IRS 2k. Boo. Why? I still have no clue. Hr block messed up my taxes in 2008 and refuse to do anything about it. Guarantee my ass.

@mylove2 You can still file a joint return even if you had no income, it will usually give you a better return.
  • Mini vacation and using the rest to try and get our semi paid off b4 new baby comes. That will be 1200 a month the hubby will not have to come up with
  • @captivated having a pro I use that term loosely with h&r block only protects you from any charges that could be brought up. You have to pay for any mistakes the pro makes They neglect to tell you that when they are cchanging 300 for something a 40 dollar program can do for you. Or you can always go even cheaper and get the forms from ur library, I think thats to much work tho I use TurboTax. Lol
  • I will be buying a new washer and dryer, paying 3 months of my rent in advance and then saving the rest.
