Itchy nipples/boobs

edited March 2013 in Pregnant
My nipples and boobs are suuuuuuper itchy, it is really annoying! I didn't have this with my first pregnancy, is it normal?! I literally want to tear my skin off. :(

  • What can I do to relieve it? I can't sit at work scratching my breasts like a damn orangatang!
  • I'm sorry I'm no help, but that mental image made me laugh! Lol You're not breastfeeding or pumping are you?
  • @wilsomom lol, no just pregnant.
  • I'm on the same boat. :/
  • Same here!!!
I try putting lotion on everyday but it doesn't really help it. Sometimes Im itchy, sometimes Im not.
  • @perly @monkey_girl ok, thought I was going crazy for a minute there. Ugh these crazy pregnancy symptoms! Lol
  • Lol. When people say every pregnancy is different, you better believe it lol.
  • Tell me about! This pregnancy and my previous one are night and day!
  • Me too! With my first, they ached. This time they just itch like crazy!
  • I get this normally all the time lol and I'm not prego it really sucks I just put lotion on. But mine doesn't sound nearly as annoying as urs.
  • @monkey_girl yep mine are so different too!

@rockiespurple I wonder if they itch because they are stretching?!
  • Nipple cream !! Once your skin gets cracked and dry gets itchy try to keep your boobs lubricated !!! And every pregnancy mekes your boobs bigger so expect the stretching like in your belly and buy a cotton bra (let them breath)
  • This happened with my first it was so bad I would leave marks from scratching. The only thing that helped was.aveeno lotion and.even then I couldn't rub it all in
  • not only do mine itch but once I take my bra off my nipples are immediately hard! never had that before
  • My belly has been super itchy ESP where my stretch marks are. My boob and nipples have too. Or they start burning from being cold.
  • Lol, mines was itchy with nyla but the nipple cream didnt work. Lol, there was times where i would slap my boobs haha
  • Coconut oil!!! Mine have been really bad this pregnancy and coconut oil is the only thing that works. Just make sure you get the virgin and unrefined kind, it actually has many many uses! But it's antibacterial and anti itch lol good for bug bites, sun burns, dry skin, etc. Highly recommend!
  • @nylasmommy Lmfao!

@smcox where can I find it?
  • At any health food store or in the health section at a grocery store.
