faint line after ten mins!

I took a hpt last night (dollar store) and it was negative after a min or so. I left it on the counter in the bathroom and when i used the restroom this morning i glanced and there is a faint second line. Im trying not to get excited because they say not to read after ten mins. What do you think?

    I agree with @homebirthadvocate it sounds like an evaporation line. I would wait a couple of days and try again if late.

    I don't no that's what happened to me and I was pregnant. I took two and both did it.

    Dollar store tests do that to me too & it's an evap. You never know though. Can you post a pic?

    I agree wait few days until u miss test again it could go either way with it being an evap or u may be pregnant these things are hard to tell its 50/50 right now

    I took 2 test just like them friday showed up faint after a min or 2 and i am pregnant! Went to the health department and got a test done the same day and they said it was faint but its there they said its really early im only 4 weeks i was only 2 days late when i tested! Good luck!!

    Thats how mine was with my first it took about 5-10 mins to change and I was pregnant also. You should try to take it early in the morning, your first morning pee...I wish you the best!! Im going to test tomorrow morning also
