I'm freaking out a little!

edited April 2013 in Pregnant
My morning sickness is easing up a bit. The nausea is intermittent with lots of gagging episodes instead of constant all day nausea. The last time I started feeling better this early I lost the baby a week later. Of course I'm trying to be thankful for feeling better, but still a little worried! :/

  • Oh that's hard place to be in but ill be praying for u hopefully ur just getting over the morning sickness slowely!
  • @jules Thanks, I hope so too. I'm feeling pretty crappy this evening so I guess that's good. Lol
  • Praying for the best!
  • Funny, because the same thing happened to me today and I thought the same.
  • @sands3 Thank you!

@captivated That's funny. This is the only time in life anyone wants to feel sick. Lol
  • You will have some days where you will feel better!! Try not to worry hun xx
  • @mummy_to_be Thank you, I'm trying not to worry. :)
  • Maybe there's nothing wrong Hun, I was a happy bumble bee with my first pregnancy , I didn't know what morning sickness was til my 2nd pregnancy. I didn't have a single sign of pregnancy with my first , just a huge as hell belly and nauseous when I used to smell something weird. Oh and I threw up once because I ate a whole pot of spaghetti lol
  • @Janet_2011 lol A whole pot of spaghetti? That would make you sick, but definitely something a famished pregnant woman would do. Lol
  • Yeah haha my husband still bugs me about it , for some reason I used to get huge spaghetti cravings , I used to just gobble it down , and throw up a few minutes later xD that never stopped me though.
  • @Janet_2011 I love it too especially with lots of cheese! Lol
  • Hoping there is nothing wrong!
  • I understand that every pregnancy is different, but when you have a sudden cease in symptoms that you were having, it is one of the biggest signs of miscarriage. Every time I have had all of my symptoms rapidly disappear, I've lost the pregnancy. So I totally understand your fear @wilsomom. I'm no longer peeing frequently either and haven't had one bout of nausea or vomiting since yesterday. I haven't kept anything down in weeks and vomit between 10-20 times a day. I am extremely worried now :(
  • @captivated Oh no that's not good. My symptoms haven't totally disappeared yet, just getting milder. I hope you're just having a miracle, but I know you're worried. Keep me posted.
  • @wilsomom, I will! I also know that I could just be insanely blessed, so no sense in stressing it :) what is going to be will be.

Maybe I spoke too soon, I've felt like crap all day today. Ugh.
    @captivated How about you today?
  • I feel great :) full of energy and no nausea.
  • @captivated Well hopefully you're just getting over that part sooner rather than later.
  • @wilsomom hope ur doing ok and I know with me symptoms come and go exsept for the peeing a lot. And I haven't had any super strong once yet but I never really with my daughter either. Like the week I found out I was super crancky and bloaded and emotional and sleepy and then week 5 started and like I woke up totally normal then couple days later got bloaded for little was tired. And I have days were I feel totally normal and even though I haven't had miscarriage before it still worries me just reading things on here but I keep telling myself that all pregnancys are different and I'm still early and we all have lots days left to feel misserable so I'm trying to enjoy it and pray for the best and I do the same thing for you. It will be okay :)
  • @jules Thank you so much! Yeah I also keep thinking about how miserable the last trimester is. Lol I got it easy now compared to that.
  • @wilsomom lol for some reason I don't remember the last trimester and I was pregnant at the same time little less then two years apart. Maybe its true like they say we usually don't remember the pain that way we will continue wanting more kids :) but I hope and pray for us both that everything goes very well!
  • @jules oh my gosh, I know, I really think we have some kind of pregnancy amnesia for real! Lol
  • Lol really do but I'm sure am thankful I was asking my hubby questions about my labor last night and at first I thought he was making some things up like he told me the girl who put my iv in messed up and she was student and had to do it again and he was shocked she messed up cause I have amazing veins his paramedic and is obsest with them saying how easy it would be and his had to do iv in me and shots. Then I remembered but I don't remember it hurting. And other then that he said I was not whinny at all and didn't seem to be in very much pain. Lol I was proud to hear that. I'm gonna have him tape more of it this time so I can look back the only video I have now is right when she comes out very end and him being amazed how flat my tummy way and exposing all of me by an accident lol. Do u have any of ur babies birth ob video?
  • Guess I spoke too soon. I've spent the last thirty minutes vomiting and dry heaving my brains up. I didn't take my phenergan suppository or unisom last night, so maybe that was helping more than I thought it was.
  • @jules I've never been brave enough to do a video, just pictures. After watching The Business of Being Born the other day I think I'd like to this time. Did you have yours natural? I've done 4 natural & 5 with epidurals.

@captivated At least you're having symptoms again, though it's not fun. I keep going back & forth too. Yesterday I was pretty incapacitated, today I've felt great.
  • Well I'm not thinking him doing every minute but just have all the important moments and I had an epidural with my daughter and loved it I wasn't in much pain but the guy that did mine was a friends co worker so he was about to get off his shift and said the pain could get worst and if u think u might want it u would have to wait awhile for the other guy shift to start plus I didn't want to chance it cause I knew he was already the best so I was like I guess ill just get it I don't really care for having it all natural all the same to me I get my baby healthy that's all that matters. And he was amazing wish I could fly him out and do it again with this baby but hopefully ill get another great doc :) how did it go for u what do u want to this time? My mom did everyone natural she's totally against epidurals lol.
  • @jules I try to go natural every time because I'm really against them, but 2 I had with being induced...that's freaking painful! 1 was because I was young & didn't care, 2 were because my labor was slow & I couldn't take it anymore! Lol Those 2 were really big babies with the cords around their neck & shoulder dystosia so I guess that's what took so long. I'm gonna try natural this time, but we'll see. Lol Did you get pitocin with your epidural? That's why I hate epidurals, I almost always end up with pitocin.
  • Well I actually got pitocin as soon as I had enought liquids through the iv because my water broke at home and then we still stayed home for few hours before we got to the hospital and even the pitocin wasn't that bad I mean the contractions got stronger but wasn't horrible. I just had lots people visiting and didn't feel like being uncomfortable and I'm not against epidurals so not much stopping me. And my labor was onyl 13 hrs from the time the water broke to time she was out so I guess I could go without but rather get some rest before its time to push. But I think its great women do it naturally too :)
  • @jules That's so nice only 13 hours! Lol My labors are usually 20+ hours, idk why. I love the epidural as far as getting rest & no pain, I'm just always worried about it leading to a c section. That would freak me out. Lol I watched my daughter go through one because her baby was breech & it seemed so painful. So you had people visit during labor? That would make me nervous. Lol
  • That's true I mean everything has its risks but since I had one epidural go well and short labor I'm not too nervous about having issues with it and hopefully it won't lead to c section part of me thinks that if c section is gonna happen it will with or without the cause of an epidural ya know. But that wouldn't be fun to have to watch someone else have one hopefully she had good recovery. And I had some family and friends come visit before and after she was born it wasn't bad but my labor was very easy I just relaxed and waited for when they told me I could push. I can't imagine having something go wrong I bet its soo scary and stressful.
