@jules Yeah it sounds like you had a nice labor. Hopefully it will go well again. I've had some scares but nothing too major. Oh I forgot to say every time I get an epidural I pass out. And one time they had to poke me 5 times! They shot me in the wrong spot & I immediately had a metal taste in my mouth & the lady doing it freaked out! I guess that's a real bad thing, I ended up passing out & them waking me up with smelling salts! So I guess I haven't had good experiences, but I'm glad you did, so it should hopefully go well again. Lol
Oh my gosh that sounds scary I wonder why u pass out and doing it 5 times sounds like they had no idea what they were doing I'm sorry. I see why u prefer to try natural again. Good thing u never had to have c section. What about tearing I assume with all those kids u at least teard once and how was that? Since I didn't tear last time that's one thing I hope stayes the same I'm really worried it will be very painful and harder to recover after.
I only tore with my first & maybe a tiny bit with the rest. The first one was really bad though. If you didn't with your first then you shouldn't again so that's good. My first was my smallest so I guess it was just my body or because I pushed for 2.5 hours. All the kids after that were easy peasy..lol.
well that's pretty good and I hope this I don't that makes sense though my body done it before. Lol unless I have a big baby this time. But pushing for that long sounds crazy I can't imagine how tired u must have been. But if it is easy peasy after the first I hope it will be although can't imagine going any easier then my daughter lol. I'm surprised that ur labors are soo long I would imagine they would just kinda pop out lol
@jules I know it's so weird. My mom always had long labors too. Once I get to 8 cm it's over in less than an hour, but it just takes me forever to get there. And since I've had so many they do pop out right at the end lol which is why they break their collar bones I've been told. Well I've only had 2 break them, but I guess that's why. Lol
That's very intresting I guess a lot of things are genetic. My daughter came out fast only two contractions and then I could have stopped to take another break and go on the 3rd one but I kept pushing and they said ok go ahead if u can and good thing I did I bet if I were to hold at where she was I could have torn cause he head was out and I hear shoulders are horrible. If u could compare ur labors with and without epidural as far as ur comfort level how would u describe it?
@YNVTish Lol yep! I'm starting to feel better, but I had 4 weeks of killer nausea. Like in the bed almost all day nausea. Thank goodness I'm feeling better, how are you doing?
Well good to know hehe. See with my epidural I had very easy recovery I was up right away and they let me take shower and then week after my daughter was born we were back to having sex and I started my work outs I was careful bc I know u should wait but I asked my doc when I was leaving and she said bc everything went soo well there's not reason why u can't like start walking or try going back to dance just nothing crazy so I listened to her and she said if anything feels uncomfortable just stop. And as far as feeling satisfied I don't really care I just want see my baby I'm happy no matter what don't really care how I feel baout myself well never really thought about it either guess.
well you have done this many more times then me, I sure hope your right! I haven't gained any weight yet but I'm only 5 weeks and 5 days so I have lots time I'm expecting to gain more but with Scarlett I was only able to gain 23 pounds my doc wanted me to gain more it was just hard for some reason. Does it come on easier second time around I don't want to have to hear it again lol. especially since its new doc and doesn't know that I still had healthy baby!
@jules I gained more weight the second time around, but I wasn't eating real healthy. I think if you're at a good weight for your body type & you're eating healthy then it shouldn't matter how much weight you gain. I mean 23 pounds sounds perfect to me, especially if you're small to start with.
I see well I'm very under weight only 7.5 % body fat which for a girl 12% is competition weight that's why I was amazed I got pregnant in the first place and was trying to gain weight soo hard to help but I just have very hard time gaining. I don't even remember how far along I was when I started to gain with my first only cause I didn't really care since I know its normal plus I was healthy and active. I still eat about the same but since we just moved haven't been as active yet but slowely getting back into it

But, the satisfaction, quicker recovery & lower risks are all worth it to me. Especially if they use pitocin because it's so hard on the baby.
