Maybe pre-eclampsia I would call or Dr and see if they want to see u... can u check your bp? Mine did at 36 wks I had pre-e and was induced at 38.5 wks
  • Its pretty normal this late in pregnancy.
  • I had it a few weeks before my due date the dr checked it out an sed jus to rest an elevate my feet
  • It is totally normal. Preeclampsia does not usually present itself with swollen feet, but instead with swollen face and hands. Migraines. High bp. Proteinuria. Etc. Give your doc a call if you're worried. Increase water intake and elevate your feet.
  • @0811 @excitedforoctober @Mrz_jackson @captivated i just got up to cook hubby's lunch and went back to bed and i raised my feet and now they're back to normal.

It really caught me by surprise because i went to sleep last night and my feet were fine. I woke up around 12 to drink water and my feet were fine. Then all of a sudden i wake up this morning and they're swollen. I guess i was expecting my feet to get swollen after a busy day, or while being up on my feet or something... But not while sleeping lol. Im fine for now, i'll give my doctor a call if it happens again. Thank you :)
  • Yay!! I'm glad they are back to normal!! @perly
  • @0811 lol. I hope it stays like that. Its so weird to me how they got swollen while sleeping. It kinda doesn't make sense to me lol.

I agree with that you are resting and laying down so why?? No sense at all!!! :) hang in there u are almost there
  • Omg towards the end of my pregnancy my feet looked like balloons!!!! I work on my feet and it was summer and super hot so that didn't help. I had dents from my flip flops that didn't go away when I took them off hahaha.
  • @0811 i guess im just weird lol.
@starrxoxo9 yeah i've seen some very swollen feet lol. My feet never get swollen, even when im on my feet all day long. And im not surprised they were swollen because its common in pregnancy, but what i couldn't understand is why would they get swollen while i was asleep (like i said, they usually get like that after a busy day or something like that). But then again, the body retains a lot of water during pregnancy so that could be it too.
  • I'm glad they went back to normal maybe it was the position u were sleeping in who knows. I sure hope it's nothing serious. But since it went away probably good thing. Your almost there and won't have to deal with it!
  • @jules im 37wks today lol. Im so ready to have this baby lol. He's putting a lot of pressure on my pelvis now.
  • I'm sorry that's no fun but your very close just stay active and could be anyday now :) I didn't have too much pressure with my daughter but it was very easy pregnancy and delivery this baby is already causing trouble sucks lol cause my daughter has been one easy child lol I can't wait to see some cute pics of ur lo I'm sure ur very excited besides being uncomfortable.
  • @jules to be completely honest, this pregnancy has been a roller coaster from the beginning but i wouldn't trade it for anything. I would actually do it over and over again lol. Im in pain and uncomfortable, but happy... Im just anxious to meet my baby.
  • I don't even want to know how I feel at 37 weeks, I'm scared! I am 30 wks and am already super uncomfortable! :(
  • @excitedforoctober im sorry! I know it feels like crap lol.
  • Ya that's how I feel too this time it's not as easy but I'm happy and very thankful!
