I've only made my own bc they're so expensive. If you get a piece of fabric that's about 15 feet long, then cut it to 26" wide it's perfect. I use a cotton/rayon blend so it's a little stretchy & doesn't ravel on the edges when cut. Hope that helps! Also you can watch videos on youtube about how to make them.
How do u feel about ringed slings? Where did u find reasonably priced fabric? How many wraps do they make? Sorry for all the question. There is a local store here in town that sells miscellaneous arts and crafts. I was going to price compare and such. I'm pretty excited about making one.
@stephforever89 I've never used a ring sling. I actually ordered some fabric online that was pretty reasonable & it was wide enough to make 2 wraps. I sold one on ebay that paid for the fabric, and kept the other one for free!
I couldn't figure out my moby wrap to save my life! YouTube video after video and I still wasn't sure enough to actually put baby in, I made a ring sling that I liked, I only used it once though lol I'm gonna have to figure something out this time with a toddler and a newborn
I feel ya @Kimberly4411 my son is right at 18months. I know when sissy gets here he is going to want just as much attention. So to solve that problem I'm making a sling. Wasn't sure if ringed slings are easier or what lol. @wilsomom oh ok, I really appreciate all the help.
I googled it lol now that I'm googling it again I probably used the wrong rings but it held my 12 month old at the time lol guess it's good I only used it once
