  • Oh im very sorry it will b ok. Im not sure what happened with the job however I hope it doesn't get in the way of ur unemployment until u gugs figure it out. It will be ok trust me its stressful at times but with positive attitude anything is possible. My huby lost his job while I was 6 months with our first and was having such hard time finding one took year and half find something that worked well for us and I was working part time at first but then I ended up staying home with our daughter after she was 6 months. And we made it work. U just have to take one step at a time. Let urself go through the process right now of being sad and frustrated and whatever other feelings u may have. But have goals in mind and after few days focus on those. And then day by day things will get better. Honestly for is it was blessing in disguise. Now we are perfectly financially stable and I'm 6 months pregnant with our second daughter. And we learned soo much about life, ourselves, each other, and others around us. Something that helps us appreciate what we do have all the time. You will be in my thoughts and prayers I hope things work out faster for you then they did for my hubby but always know it will be ok :)
  • Why were you fired, if you don't mind me asking? Companies don't tend to fired pregnant women to avoid any type of law suit.
  • I worked at a nursing home and a resident complained on me.... I think it will be a blessing just hope to be able to afford our bills without me working @Jules @monkey_girl
  • I don't see why you wouldn't get unemployment. I know of many people who were fired and still got unemployment.
  • I think you can totally get unemployment. And if they deny you appeal it. A lot of people give up if they're denied. I was denied unemployment because I quit my job but I appealed it and won. I've been on it for almost two years while my Hubby works.
  • If you were fired for just cause it will be harder to get unemployment, but keep appealing it & hopefully it will work out.
  • I see well sounds like he said she said thing u should get it. Plus the employer only has like couple days to reply to the phone call a lot of times they do not so that will get u thd unemployment. And mt husband was good reason the company was trying to save their ass not get sued by a family so they knew they had to fire him and came up with legit reason he still got it. U be ok. Just apply for other thjngs while u wait maybe food stamps, wic, if u dont have health insurance then apply for that. Whatever u can think of. It is pain in butt, however if its needed its very woth it until u guys figure everything out. Its not like u will have that stuff forever.
  • I have knowm several people to get unemployment for being fired. Definitely appeal if you get denied.
  • You should be able to get unemployment and I hope you do so you guys aren't stressed financially. Can you contest the reason why you were fired? I'm asking because my gram has dementia and is in a nursing home and she complains about all kinds of crazy shit. She can't determine what's real and what's not anymore. I'd hate if you got fired because some crazy old person made up a story.
  • @Frantastic she's in her right mind... which sucks I just hate that they didn't even try and explaine it was a matter of he say she say it just sucks
