  I had a misscarriage april of 2009 the doctor said I shouldn't try till about a yr because there was risks that I would have another one. Especially if its the 1st time u get pregnant. When it is sometimes since the body misscarried the baby the body acts automatically and misscarries the baby each time u get pregnant some women 3_5 times that's why they say wait a yr. I know its a long time to wait but its safe. I am due april 2 of 2011. And I have not had complications

  I had a mc in June of last year, my dr told me I should wait at least 3 months for my uterus to heal. We started ttc 6 mths aftr that just to be on the safe side.

  It was my second pregnancy I have a 2 year old!! I thought everything was fine but I started bleeding not much and I went to the dr and they did and ultrasound and my baby stop developing at 8 weeks and when I started bleeding i had just turn 12 weeks!!
  
  I really want another baby a lot of people tell me to wait3 months and some tell me 1 year!! I have my 2 week app (after the D&C) this coming Thursday let's see what the dr says!!

  If you have a d&c you are supposed to wait 2 cycles, if you miscarry naturally, you can try again right away. I had a D&c last may and waited 2 cycles and got pregnant again right away and im now 27 weeks 5 days pregnant if you miscarry naturally, there is no need to wait if you are emotionally ready again. Sorry for your loss sweetie. Miscarriages are the hardest things you can go through.

  I miscarried naturally may 2010 and in August 2010 found out I was preggo again. We weren't trying but we weren't using the right protection either...

  I am 6 wks now and still nervous after having to have a DNC last May due to a blighted (sp?) ovum, which is from what we were told is a fertilized empty egg. Last May we were about 6-8 weeks along, had spotting and cramping and went to the ER who did an ultrasound and found the tissue mass in my uterus. I had a little spotting last week, no cramping at all and no spotting since, but still nervous. We are hoping and praying that was implantation bleeding and everything is ok.

  Sorry for all you ladies loss.
  I have been thru it twice and every one is different you need to give your self time to heal and not try to replace your loss. I got prego 2 cycles after the first mc and it took 8 month after my ectopic. Good luck.

  I miscarried in jan and I had my period on jan 29th and conceived right after that and now I'm six weeks pregnant. I didn't need to wait nor was I told to wait because I miscarried naturally and had a blighted ovum so a baby never developed.

  I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage with my first june of 2010 and had to have a D&C. It was the hardest thing I've ever been through! I found out I was pregnant in Feb. Now I'm 12 weeks and I'm SO excited. I had an ultrasound yesterday and it was beautiful seeing my baby move. No matter how hard and devastating a miscarriage is just give your body time to heal as well as yourself emotionally and things will fall into place!!!!!!

  I had a mc in feb 2010 and my doc also said wait three normal cycles, in aug I got pregnant again. But we were not really trying during those 6 months, actually it happened when I really wanted it took, at the end of summer, we got really serious about trying again. Good luck

  I had a miscarriage in September and am five weeks pregnant now. We waited only for emotional reasons, but my doc said we only needed to wait two cycles. I actually just read an article on Babycenter that said women who get pregnant within six months of a miscarriage have a lower incidence of miscarriage than those who wait more than six months. It was interesting and comforting. You guys should read it!

  I had a miscarriage in June and I DIDN'T HAVE TO HAVE A D&C done and I have been able to get pregant yet.Wishing you the best of luck! My Dr told me to wait until after my first normal period

  I had a miscarriage in October 2010 and had to have a d&c. My doctor told me to wait 2 cycles, after the initial bleeding, before TTC. We have been TTC again for 4 months now...

  I miscarried april 08 at 4.5 weeks. Was told to wait at least one cycle (its mainly so you have time to get over the trauma of the loss) and it took me until march 09 to get pg again. Successful pregnancy with a beautiful little prince. Now pregnant again (21weeks) and my son is 15.5 months old. The wait has more to do with making sure you are mentally ready and have dealt with the loss. Unless you have a d&c or its super traumatic.
  It does get easier after your loss, but make sure you take time to take care of your self first.
