  • If you heat it up it is fine. Heating it up kills the germs.
  • Different docs says different things. I've personally ate lunch meat with every pregnancy and never had a problem.
  • My mw said that it's just the meat you get out of the deli that should be avoided unless heated. The meat already packaged is fine to eat
  • When the deli meat is at refridgerator temp bacteria called listeria can grow, pregnant women are more prone to getting sick from this. As long as you heat the meat till its steaming it will kill anything that might be bad for you. The risk is very small though!
  • What if I eat it in like a grilled cheese sandwich is that warm enough?
  • Hard Cheese is fine like american provolone... Just the meats and soft.cheeses like feta and blue cheese, gota check if.its pasturized. Most of the cheesss at the storw are I know I found blue cheese dressing that was. Again tho its a small risk alot of women I talk to ate it all while pregnant and never even heard that their was.a risk.
  • I had a corn dog instead lolz but thanks so much ladies! Ill know for next time <3
