I found out 16 weeks with both of mine, had to pay for a private scan though :-) couldn't wait any longer!!

16 to 22 weeks is the best time to find out. Early scans can be very wrong because of how close their parts look. Even if its an up close scan, it can still be very wrong. Here's a site to show you:
