just found out friday TWINS!!!

I am freaking out....scared. happy the babies are healthy at this point. But this is our first pregnancy and my husband and I are beside ourselves! One minute I feel so elated and the next I want to cry. I am most nervous about being able to handle two when I was so nervous about having just one!! We are in shock because we had no treatment it was spontaneous identical twins. There are twins on my moms extended and his extended...but it never crossed our mind we could have them. Complete shocker. Everyone is being really supportive...I know our feeling will grow with the pregnancy and we will become more comfortable with the idea...just nerve wrecking! Anyone else expecting twins....and is this ur first pregnancy?

    I am also pregnant with twins. I found out last Friday. This is my first pregnancy. just as u, I didn't know I could even have twins. i didn't even know twins ran in my family. im scared, happy and joyful all at the same time

    I had twin boys with my first pregnancy. I had no experience with babies, and I think now that that helped. I had no idea what one was like so 2 was my normal. I was 23 when they were born. It's been a fun 4 years, you'll survive. And then when you watch someones singleton for them you think "My goodness this is easy! What's she always whinning about?!?" Lol

    @mama_kat i'm 7weeks and 2days!! :). i found out when I was 5 and a half weeks.
    @maranda3 I am so happy to hear you say that. I have 26brothers and sisters and I helped raise 9 of them but I think that it was just the fact of knowing that they are all mine and I would be their mother took me to another level of nervousness lol

    Thank u all for the congrats...I had my first ultrasound Friday march 11 @ 12 weeks 3days....and that is when we found out. Just trying to educate myself now. We weren't going to find out the sex when we thought it was one...but we feel this is surprise enough so next ultrasound @16 wks we want to find out....its a whole different ball game! 2Blessings congrats and good luck as well!!
