Is your doctor doing anything to prevent it? Stopping your contractions with medicine? Giving you steroids to help baby's lungs develop quicker just in case? Anything? Because he/she should. Besides that, I know its scary but at 29 weeks and up your baby has a 90% chance of surviving. I went into preterm labor with my first 6 times starting at 22 weeks. My doctor did everything he could to keep her in and I was on bedrest from 28 weeks and up, and she came late! 41 weeks 1 day, so you should ask your doctor about what he/she is going to do to try and prevent it. Best of luck hun and congrats on your pregnancy
Well you need to listen. Bed rest does suck, extremely I know, but it will keep your baby in there longer. He should give you steroid shots to help develop baby's lungs as well just in case.
Yes he give me medications when i was in the hospital to prevent but he have to take them of because they was giving me problem with the heart and with the baby to he say he give me everythig he can but the only he can do now is put me in rest in my house and check on my every week
Yes he give me the steroid for the baby right when i get to the hospital and until the moment she is ok and perfect he thinks if she born theres no problem she look like she have one week more and completly healthy
She is the only thing why im doing this i love her more than me and if i have to stay in the bed for the rest of the 10 week that left im gonna do it...
