Spotting.... implantation or early af

So I started spotting today. According to mydays, I should be 9dpo today. AF due on Saturday. SO and I had sex last night so wondering if that could be it too (sorry if TMI) but that never happens.... confused as all heck!!!!! Maybe it's implantation????? UUUggghhhhhhh

OPINIONS very helpful please!!!!

    its very light.... pinkish in color... no cramping either.... hhhmmmmm i looked at the conception timeline image and it said this would be right about the time to implant... oh God i am praying so.... I cried last night to the SO saying how much I wanted this baby... how are you @mommy2audrey???

    Sounds right! I never had inplantation bleeding, its a nice lill hint that u could be prego ;) good luck! I'm good, I'm 32wks and feel like I still have FOREVER to go lol

    It could be... but I'm not much of someone to ask. Cuz my implantation bleeding was a week late for my normal period, and lasted 9 days. Its no wonder that I thought it was just a weird period! Lol. It turns out that I ovulate just a few days before my period. How aweful. Lol. But still, good luck, @ready4number3! Btw, what is AF? I've got the jist but the actual acronym escapes me. =/

    With this baby I spotted for 2 days & thought maybe I was so I took a early predictor test from the dollar store in the middle of the day and it said positive. I figured if its implantation bleeding then that means the hcg is present in me so I hoped it was enough to give me a positive & it was. I tested 5 days before AF. Sounds like it could be so for you. I was to excited & impatient to wait it out. Lol. I'm now 23 weeks with baby #5. Hoping a BFP for you. :)

    @melinda326 what did your spotting look like? Mine has gotten alittle more throughout the day. NOTHING like my normal AF.... could I be starting my AF early? Did you have cramping with it too... I had cramps earlier but now they are gone... confused!!!!!!

    its like rusty color- some brown, some dark red.... its very light thought. its so light that i barely need a pantyliner. also the cramping was pretty significant earlier today, now pretty much gone. idk what is going on.

    My implantation bleeding seemed to be heavier when I was up and moving around. It started very light pink and got almost black by the end. It lasted about 9 days for me. mostly when I wiped is when I saw it. Just a few times was it in my panties. Good luck to all of u that are hoping!!!

    @ ready4number3 mine was a dark brown kinda like the end of a period. But not enough that I'd need to use anything even though I did cause I thought it was AF but then there was barely anything showing which made me wonder. I even had one tiny clot,a dark brown one and have read that there isn't any clots in implantation bleeding but I had one when I wiped but as the day went on & then through the next day it was all the same I decided to test. I had a 2 pack & figured if was negative then I would wait till I missed after to take the second. So as inpatient as I am & anxious I took it that & got the +. It sounds like you could be & I had light cramping which I also had was due to af. So keep us posted. I'm getting anxious to know if you are or not. :)

    I agree with mybambino28 you could test early and get a BFP. :) You could get a 2 pack and take one now and if it say negative than it could be still a little early for you and you'd still have the extra one left for later and if you do get the BFP than you have the extra one to take again for the extra fun of seeing +++++ all over again. :)

    I am afraid its AF.... Tested this afternoon and bfn. Mild cramping all night and still spotting the reddish brown.... :(

    Its not heavy....its like what I get on the last day of af. My af is usually heavy where I need a super tampon.

    Well it could still be early. Just wait it out. Only time will tell. Just a few more days then you can know for sure. :)

    did you take a digital? because sometimes the hormone is to early to detect on a "line" test...a digital will give you a positive even if you have the slightest hormone in you.

    Morning ladies. Sad to say it's definitly the evil witch. It's heavy today just like my af would be..... So I guess I'm onto trying again. I don't even want to think about a pregnancy anyone. Getting really discouraged..... :( :(

    Btw - I really do think that SO may have some fertility issues. We talked about it the other night and he agrees that he needs to get checked out, he's just having anxiety about it. It makes him really upset to think that it's more likely that he's the reason why we aren't getting preggo.... I feel bad but it's time for a doctors visit!!!!

    It's only been 2 cycles... BUT here's the deal. 2 main factors to consider.....I'm extremely fertile. It runs very highly in my family. We get preggo just thinking about it off bc. Second factor, my SOs semen is very unnormal. It's clear and thin like water. Literally it looks like that. He ejaculates ALOT out but there's zero consistency. He doesn't masturbate in-between sex and it's been like that since day one. In all the research I've done, it could be a prostate issue. Besides the whole preggo thing I just want to make sure he's healthy and it's not an issue for him...... Does that make sence????
