Cerclage anyone??? I am having mine this thursday

I was wondering if anyone else is having a cerclage, I have my surgery this thursday I dont know what to expect. My pre-op is tomorrow. I am super nervous. Please pray for me that everything goes well!

    I lost my first baby at 20 weeks in feb of 2010... I will have to get one for every pregnancy now......I am 14 weeks now

    I had mine done at 13wks. I'll be 18 wks tommorow.I had light spotting the first day and a little cramping.I'm on bedrest now because I was on my feet too much at wrk and was required to push a medicine cart but since I've been home everythings going well had one done w/ my daughter who is 3yrs old now.     @insanepreggochick it wasn't painful for me the dr did it in the office took about 5min.They took mine out at 37 wks and I had my daughter a wk later.

    I had mine at 15 weeks I have an incompetent cervix my first pregnancy I gave birth to my lil girl at 22 weeks and had to plan a funeral I thought I was gunna die then wit my second pregnancy I was 24 weeks when they told me I had an incometent cervix it was to late to get a cercage so I was put in the hospital and delivered her at 28 weeks she is 3 years old now and perfect anyways to me the surgery literally takes 5 minutes it getting prepped with ivs and waiting for the anesthia to wear off it took mine 8 hours to wear off I was freaking out cuz I couldn't feel my legs I was crying I'm like this can't be normal for it to take this long something went wrong my husband kept assuring me its fine but after it wore off I felt no pain in my va jay jay from the surgery but everybody is different sorry about my life story

    @INSANEPREGGOCHICK This is my first time getting the cerclage with my 2nd pregnancy by the time they figured out my cervix was incompetent my cervix had actually started dialating and it was to risky for the surgery so they just put me in the hospital until I delivered but this pregnancy I got the cerclage and I'm on bed rest until I deliver and I have to insert a progestone tablet each nite b4 bed its to stop any contractions and keep my llil guy in longer I'm 22 weeks now I get my cerclage taken out at 36 weeks I hope I make it that long I'm praying I carry this baby to term as far as how it feels to get it taken out ill keep u posted how far along r u

    Yea me either its hard to do strict bedrest and have a 3 year old they told me I could take 2 showers a week 5 minutes each I mean come on but so far everything is good I go to the hospital every 2 weeks to get indepth ultrasounds and they check my cervical legnth so far so good I got another appt tomorrow hoping cervix is still good well as far as me keeping u posted ur farther along than me u can let me know how it feels to get the cerclage taken out
