braxton hicks????

Ok I've been hearing about these all the time and I Think I've had a couple. Can someone explain to me how these are supposed to feel like? I usually feel tightness and sometimes stinging in my pelvic area...I can imagine wut contractions are goin to feel like! Ahhhh!
