back surgery six years ago may not be able to get an epidural

I had my L4 & L5 bulging disks removed my new Dr thinks it could be an issue if I need an epidural ......I want a natural birth so I'm hoping I wont need it but ya never know..
......has anyone gone through this?

    I haven't but I really wouldn't recommend N epidoral.. I had an epidoral with my daughter n ever since that I've been having lower back MAJOR pain... I'm having my 2nd now.. n already been to the hospital cuz of it.. a lot of chicks I know say the samething.. it hurts soooooo bad like somebody is stabbing me... I mean its ur decision but I wouldn't recommend it

    My first baby I had natural no drugs ....bit my second and third I had an epidural I really want to have this baby natural no drugs ......only thing is what if I have to have an emergancy c section, that's why I'm worried about the epidural.

    I had to have my L4 & L5 disc's removed also 3 years ago...L7 is still bulging but was not repaired. I'm 14 weeks & 4 days w/ my first and that's the one major thing I asked my Dr about. He said he's not concerned about it yet but want's me to monitor my back and weight gain closely...I am terrified to go through labor and come out the hospital not being able to walk due to the epidural or my bulging disc rupturing! Sucks that my Dr doesn't seem to be concerned @ all!
