I'm only 11 weeks, and I have noticed everytime I eat I fall asleep. I mean I lay down for bed and can't sleep bc hunger is coming on, by the morning I'm starving. Is anyone else like this or is it just me?
I don't get the morning sickness but like milk, I drink a lot if it but ill have a glass and feel like crap. But yesterday I ran a few errands came home ate spaghetti os and crashed for 2 hours lol
Lol just wait till your sugar test. Can't eat for 12 hours then you have to drink this junk that tastes like pure sugar and koolaid. Even worse if you have to do the 3 hour test. Then you can't eat for 15 hours.
Your test sounded horrible! With mine I had to drink a little bottle of this juice that tasted like orange soda and only had to wait an hour to drink or eat. Wasn't bad at all.
I don't have to fast before my glucose test.. I just can't eat after I drink it.. they said I can eat clear up until I drink it. And it usually happens at around 20-25 weeks but my doctor is really cautious and does one at my first appt and another one between 20-25 weeks.. so I have to do my first one on Monday! Wish me luck!
Ugh, when I did my glucose test with my first I had to fast. My husband thought it was hilarious because I was acting like I was going to die without food. I ate constantly with my first. I'm 7 weeks and some change and it is already starting! I love food...
The 3 hr glucose test is only if u take the 1 hour one and ur sugar levels come back high. Then u have to start fasting at midnight thr night before u do the test, drink that horrible drink, and wait 3 hours to eat after that. U also have to get ur blood drawn 4 times within those 3 hours and it sucks! But if ur sugar levels are healthy then u wont have to go througj it so good luck!
I had a simple glass of hot cocoa before my glucose test n the lady sent me back home. She said fast tonight n come first in the morning! Stupid lady had me starving! It was the hour one
Yes and its not fun. I was starving and tired from having all that blood taken out. Even worse bcuz they had trouble finding my veins and getting blood out. Hopefully if ur excercising and eating well u wont have to go through that.
I did mine at 28 weeks and they didn't say anything about not eating. I had to drink an orange drink really fast and I felt like I was going to throw up the whole hour that I had to wait, but they only took 2 little vials of blood. Not too terrible for me.
I didn't have to fast either, before or after. I just had to down the bottle within 2 -3 mins. It wasn't bad, well yah it was. It was kinda like a watered down flat orange pop / koolaid. It make me real shaky afterwards tho.... I get my results Thursday..
