  • I was told you can. As long as its not on the belly/baby itself and only for 10-15 mins at a time.

  • Where are you gonna put it...on ur back is fine for no longer than 20 mins and on ur stomach no longer than 10 mins so that your stomach doesn't get too hot
  • As long as ur whole body doesn't heat up your fine
  • @proudmommy627 I had it on my lower back. I was in awful pain from my belly starting to pull on my back so I asked the dr and friends who have had children. It helps a little bit but not much:/ good luck.
  • Terisue i had it on my lower back. Not even for 15 mins bcuz it gets warm then cool again. N i dnt plan on putting it on my tummy, only my lower back cuz thts where the pain is
  • @fetherolc yea i've never heard of it not being safe so idk y she said tht lol so im gna continue using it. Thank u!
  • I heard,it isnt good for baby, baby already keeps warm enough n shouldnt apply anymore heat to body, also stay away from hot tubs n hot showers
  • @letysfirst idk bout hot showers. I kno to stay away frm hot tubs but not showers. How do ppl expect us to shower? Lol
  • If your in pain try yoga. They give you tons of stretches to help your low back and your whole body while prego. Sorry I don't have an answer about the heating pad but yoga has been so great for me I've had almost no pain and been fairly comfortable!
  • Lol warm showers ok, hot showers no no... some ppl like really hot showers, I like, hot showers but I had to change that to just regular warm showers ;-)
  • @ProudMommie627 hot showers are perfectly safe as hot as you wanna have them. Those words came directly out of my midwifes mouth! I was so happy to hear them too!
  • I fall asleep with a heating pad on my lower back. I have a lil cover on it and don't put it directly on my skin and only use it on low. My doc said its fine. I also asked about hot showers or baths and there fine too. :)
