Should I Be Worried..?

My legs and feet have been swelling for the past couple of days. The doctored said if I'm experiencing any swelling then I Need to go to the hospital. Right now my right leg and foot is swollen but my left one is fine. Is this a bad sign?

How many weeks are you? The should not swell that much..and should get better if u rest n put ur feet up. If not call the Dr could be a sign of preeclampsia

If your doc brought it up then I'd take his advice and go in. I've never had swelling during pregnancy so that's the best advice I can give.

Press on the swollen area and see if it makes an indentation that stays for a few seconds. If it does its called pitting edema and I highly suggest you go to the er as it could be a sign of preeclampsia. Have u been having headaches? How far along are you?

I would definately take the advice of ur doctor and go to the hospital. It's better to b safe u kno.

I'm 37 wks and 2 days. I've been having headaches but it doesn't leave a print in my leg or foot. When I walk it feels like my feet are about to bust open:( this is my first time having swelling with my Pregnancy.

@homebirthadvocate I Really don't know if my blood pressure is high or not. But my doctor hasn't said anything lately but that I had something called keyliods(????) In my urine but that's been about 2 months ago
