light bleeding

So I went to the Dr on Thursday and got my first u/s ( Dr said 8 weeks) well after the u/s I bled But it stopped. Just now I went to the bathroom And there was a little bit of light colored blood. A couple of my friends said its fine but I just want to make sure from Some experienced moms
Also I am not cramping. Thanks ladies.

    If they did a pap on you as well, bleeding can be expected. As far as them just doing an u/s I'm not too sure, but I have heard that it can cause muscle pain.

    Always call doc if your nervous, i know i do :)

    If the u/s was vaginal, or you have been intimate you can get bleeding. If you have bright red blood, clots, and/or severe cramping then I would call asap.

    I had bleeding in my 7th week and it freaked me out. Called doc and had them check me. I was really scared (and this is my 4th!!).

    Good luck and don't stress, but call doc if your still worried :)

    I had spotting my entire first trimester if ur cramping or it gets worse I would worry but talk to ur dr if ur to concerned

    Yes I had a pap with the u/s so I figures that's why I bled Thursday but today and the last few days I haven't done anything. I will call the Dr tomorrow I guess maybe Just get my blood drawn see if my levels are good. Thanks

    Yeah I've hurd Alot of pregnant women have light bleeding. As long as its not heavy or having cramps it should be alright. But i would definitely talk to my doctor to be on the safe side

    Thanks ladies, I started cramping a little bit but no more blood. And I am not feeling "as pregnant" as I was a few days ago. I guess I am just worried is all.

    Sex will also cause some spotting and some cramping is normal as well due to the uterus changing/stretching

    Seariously you should call your doctor they can schedule you in and find out.how ur little one is doing they will probably do another us

    I just don't want to seem like I am to worried or something if I call my Dr. He is kinda rude and I don't want to bother him or something. I know That sounds stupid but I feel like I am worried over nothing

    Sounds like you need a different doctor but if you have severe cramping/pain and /or bleeding you can always go to the er to be seen. I am currently pregnant with number 3 and had a mc and ectopic pregnancy before so it doesn't sound like you are having miscarriage. A simple UFO also could give you cramping and the uterus contract which could cause some spotting.

    What's a UFO? I called and the Dr put me on bed rest. Said if anything gets worse or I start bleeding again I need to go in immediately

    Thanks. I want to switch but I figure ill give it another appointment see if my opinion of him changes or not I just hope my baby is OK.

    Sorry I meant uti urinary track infection. I didn't notice my phone changed it. I would just go to the er if you don't feel right about it.

    Oh that makes sense lol I was gonna say I know my baby looks like a little alien but pretty sure baby didn't come in a UFO lol. Ya Dr said bed rest for now and I have still been cramping on and off today we will see how I feel tomorrow

    It all depends on how bad the cramping is if you might just go on to get checked. try to drink a lot of water. I have contractions and they told me to put my legs up and drink a lot of fluids such as water and juice maybe that will help you as well.

    OK Thank You I will try That. I have been drinking juice and water all day. It hasn't been really painful but its been more then I have experienced since being pregnant I guess its just enough to alarm me.

    I Have been spotting on n off this whole preg n I'm in my 5 th mo doc said it fine u can spot if you lift heavy stuff if u r intimate etc as long as it isn heavy blood or pains ur ok jus in case mention to doc

    I've been cramping alot :( I went to the restroom just now n noticed a lil blood. Idkwhats going on??

    There is a difference between spotting and bleeding but if you start passing clots you need to go on ASAP.

    I was having stopping yesterday, and today was bleeding heavy wit clots went to the er and I had m/c. :(

    I started spotting at 5wks It was off and on for 2wks now. i'm 7w2d i still spot when i wipe sometimes. Doctor said as long as its not heavy bleeding and passing clots, severe cramps and a fever you should be fine but you can always call the doctor just to check.

    I'm 9 weeks today, I didn't even find out I was pregnant until last week because I thought I got a period in feb. I've been spotting off and on the last three weeks. The doctor said my cervix is irritated and told me no sex. But as long as there's no clots, she said not to worry.

    I am 9 weeks this week as well but I haven't had any bleeding even though I had my period in January it was really light So I thought I was further but nothing the whole month of Feb and until my pap Thursday its been on and off Thursday was somewhat heavier but only a few hours. And I have been having some cramping. And it started again today I Just wish it would stop.

    I know what you mean, its so stressful! I want to tell everyone we're expecting, but I'm afraid too because of the bleeding. It sounds like they prob irritated your cervix during the pap.

    Ya I was first told I was 9 weeks when I found out turned out nurse was wrong so after about 2 weeks We told everyone just to find out I was really 8 weeks. Irritating. That's what I was thinking but why would it be so on and off? I would think it would be consistent right? And we have been avoiding sex since Thursday because of it. So there is nothing else to bother it
