Hair coloring

Sooooo.... I got my hair done right before I found out I was pregnant and since I am still early on in my pregnancy I do not need my roots done so soon but I was wondering if it is even safe !?!?!?!?!?!?! I heard it is not safe because of the chemicals can possibly harm the baby. Does anyone know the real facts about hair coloring during pregnancy...........

    My Dr said that chemicals aren't safe but a diff Dr in the same hospital said it was. I think people give different answers based on their opinions. Also, I read that there is nothing to prove it isn't safe so I dyed my hair and my baby girl is fine and kicking away. :) I'm 20 wks 4 days. How far are you?

    Coloring ur hair is perfectly safe. There have been studies to prove it. And its in the pregnancy for dummies book that's written by ob gyns that its ok

    I'm a hair dresser and 22 weeks I work around the chemicals all day long its not harmful but with all the hormones going crazy in ur body can cause the color to react differently so it may not give u the result that u wish. But if u r concerned about getting it on ur scalp and u just get highlights or color weaves u can request ur stylist to use a cap that way it is not touching ur scalp and just ur hair

    I've heard different things. But my Dr said it was fine. Just dyed my hair last night. I'm 11+4.

    Just make sure you're in a well ventilated room.
