whats does it mean when yu are effaced or whatever??

I was wondering what does that mean. Bc yu can 100% nd still not 10cm. Can somebody clear this up for me plz??

    It just means that the lining is really thin and u could go into labor at any time.

    So the more yu are the thinner ther cervix?? So why cnt yu be 100% effaced nd 10cm. Wait I think I said that wrng. Yu can be 100% but not 10cm

    Yea u can be 100% effaced it just means that your cervix is ready for labor but your baby isn't ready to come. Lol. It also means in whatever time u could go into labor.

    I understand now lol. I was asking bc I was in the hospital when I was 26 weeks now I'm 28 nd I was 1cm dilated nd she said something about me being effaced. So I'm on bedrest. I have to much time on my hands. So I think about everything.
