I am having my first son, I have 4 daughters. We are definitely circumcising him as it is easier, cleaner, our older daughter helps a lot so it will be easier for her as well to change him, plus we know a few who aren't & they are very self conscious about it. But, it boils down to every persons personal opinion. I know there are many different views on this topic, to each their own. Whatever your choice is, make sure you are doing what you feel is right; not what you feel everyone thinks you should do. Congrats on your baby!
I'm having a boy and he will be circumsized. The health benefits are good. And just another reason, i dated a guy a couple years who and he was not circumsized. He always talked about how he wished he was and was looking into having the procedure done at the age of 20 because he want it so bad. Every experience ive heard of with males who r uncircumsized wished they were, and are willing to deal with the pain of having it done later in life. That says a lot to me. But more importantly, the health aspect. Boys who r uncircumsized have issues with infection. My little brother is not snipped bcuz my Mom couldn't afford it and he does everything hes supposed to do to care for it, but he still has uncomfortableness and issues.
Thanks ladies...well I'm almost 13 weeks so idk what I am having...obviously. it was a discussion that came up yesterday wit the BD. It is something I would like to do if We do have a boy. I agree wit u ladies 100% n have also heard that it is easier to take care of as opposed to uncircumcised. Thanks for all ur opinions ladies.
Yes I am going to. My older sister keeps trying to talk me out of it, and I hate it. But im still going with what I think and with what I want. So im gonna have it done no matter what anyone says.
@adri805 I dont think so until they get older. My boys are laid back for the most part. They are 3 & 4. My daughter is full of attitude and sass. Shes 7. Right now I think boys are easier and they love their mama
My three sons that are 11,12,and 13 are not circumcised .They have never had any issues so far. This baby I don't want to circumcise BUT my boyfriend insists on it.
@Junemomma1 I'm from Santa Barbara. @firstmommytobe I agree. Now that I think of it I have only heard all the health stuff but nvr from the Dr. I really don't think it matters...jus everyone's preference right? I know my boss took her grandson to sansum medical clinic if they have n e in n e ones area n it was like 200-250. One of.the two. forgot. It's a quick procedure n healing time is fast. I still don't know if I am gonna do it .or not if I had a boy
