4d ultrasounds????

ok im confused I want to get a 4d ultrasound and from posts here and what I heard its better if u get it from 28wks and up so I decided to wait and now at 30wks I called today for an appt and they told me because bby is gonna be 2 big they dont guarantee clear images??? Should I go to another place??? I dont wanna waist my $$$$for nothing

    i just did my 3d ultrasound and i wish i would of done it earlier! baby was so stubborn and was deep asleep a bit squished, but i think you will be just fine;)

    I had mine at 28 weeks and one at 24 weeks. The one at 28 weeks was amazing!!! My doctors office only does them between 27 and 32 weeks because they say that's the best time, so I think you're safe hun. :) drink a lot of water everyday before your ultrasound and a half hour before you have it eat something sweet/drink caffeine / drink orange juice. That should wake him/her up for you :)

    @june2bmommy the bigger they get after 20 weeks the harder it is to see them. I had one @ 20 weeks with great pics and one around 34 weeks. We expected to have great pics but couldnt see anything.

    I would call around to some other places to see what they say. The place I went to with my last baby recommends doing it between 26-33 weeks. I did my when I was around 30 weeks and they offer you a second visit if the images aren't clea enough the first time for free. But you only get the 2nd one free. But I would check around just to see what other facilities have to offer. Good luck and try drinking a Coke or eating some chocolate to get baby awake, usually helps if their sleepy. :)

    @betty they can run from 75-300 in Va idk where you live. Cause I plan on getting mine around 30-31 weeks can't wait to see my little Attalia.

    Im scheduled for one in a week they say for 3d anytime after 16 weeks and 4d between 24-32 weeks is best

    Sum places told me for best pictures go in at 27 thru 32 weeks. After that baby is too big n cant really move for u. I want to go get a 4d next week at 14 weeks to find gender then go back around 30 weeks. The place im going to go to give u 50 bucks off second package with same pregnancy. Thought it was pretty kool

    i am 32 weeks and i had just finished eating dinner and my baby went on a food coma, it was funny in a way cause the ultrasound tech would move him and he would be making all this faces...

    Not sure where ure from but I live In DC and I found a place in Bowie Md who have a special in March and April Gender Predictions are only 40 bucks on Mondays :) but the average start at about 75 and up and u get 60 off a second visit in the same pregnancy

    Im in the bay area in cali. 4d to find out gender is 59 n they give u about 4 pics to take hm. Then the 89 dollars is 15 min scan, u get about 12 pics n 15 min dvd of the scan n u get to bring family members to sit, in the viewing room n watch off a flat screen lol the highest package is about 200 n thats a 45 min scan...

    Thanks ladies im gonna call other places see what they say and drink plenty off liquids I want my bby to be awake :) @betty the package I got comes with a 20-30 min dvd and 10-15black and white pix for $100
