can the er get ur pee mixed up with some one else?

Ok i went to the er last week too see if i was pregnant they said no but they s!if i have a bladder infection n climedia but i had no symptoms of either of them n i just missed my period.....

    It could happen. Very unlikely but it could happen. Try an at home preg test and see what that tells ya.

    Even the ritziest of labs can screw things up royally. I see a second opinion in your future! Or maybe it was too early to tell then...

    I don't think you always have symptoms from chlamidya (sp?)... I don't know for sure. That & the bladder infection *could* have something to do with missing a period.
    I'm sure they could accidentally swap urine samples; there's always room for human error, but its highly unlikely.

    Take a pregnancy test just encase cause if you are on antibiotics you don't want to mess up the baby. It may be to soon for a pee test so I recommend blood

    take a home test in a little while, I was at the hospital and they said i wasn't pregnant but based off my due date I was lol but the majority of ppl who have chlamydia don't show symptoms...I had it and never would've known if i hadn't gotten pregnant, still don't know how i got it cause the husband says he's always been faithful, but even if you do have it, the antibiotics won't effect the baby...

    You should ask pharmacy if you can take the medication if your pregnant, they should know if its safe just incase you are. My friend had that while she was pregnant and they gave her meds for it.

    Also Chlamydia can make you infertile and damage your tubes ; which could cause a tubal or ectopic pregnancy. So it's good they found it and are treating you! Women usually DO NOT get symptoms tho.

    Wait. Did you ask them to test you for that too? They can't tell u have chlamydia through a urine sample i dnt think.They have to do a wet mount from cervical mucous/discharge. That's how my doctor checked me.

    I just told them my stomach was hurting so i can do a pregnancy test n she just checked for e everything else n idk how i got it n they gave me seven pills imma take them just to be on the safe side..

    I say take the meds an just bc it didn't show that u were prego then doesn't mean ur not prego now...It just may have been to early.

    An I also had that std with NO SIGNS AT ALL!!! So that doesn't mean anything most ppl don't get signs

    @meme I went to the docs and they said I wasn't preggo but then 2 weeks later took an at home one and was preggers. So just wait a lil and take one at home.

    Ask for a blood test. They did a urine test on me that came back negative, but I KNEW I was, so they did blood test. And I was lol. I was only like a week along
