help?!

Hello. I'm 17 and I'll be 1 in less than two months. This would be the start of the 4th year I have been on the depo shot but I lost my appointment card to the health clinic and missed my last shot which was supposed to be on December 14th. I haven't had a regular since I started the birthcontrol so I don't know when to expect my period but I haven't had one until a little bit of spotting today. if I am pregnant I would be about 4 or 5 weeks. I took two tests earlier this month, around the 6th. And they both were negative. A friend of mine told me to wait another week and take another test. What should I do?

    That should say I'll be 18 in less than two months.

    I would call your doctor or the local clinic. Explain the situation to the nurse and see if they want you to come in and test.

    The 6th would have been too early to Ger a pos response. If you haven't testing again you're probably ready to try another test. Have you had any symptoms?

    Nausia, cramps, tender boobs, lower back pain, heartburn, and headaches.

    I was on the depo it takes some time to get pregnant afterwards a lot of women that want to get pregnant can't until sometimes 3 months after there last shot it all depends though so id test again but wouldn't get horribly worried

    I was on the deposit as well and it took me almost 8 months to get pregnant. It depends on the woman naturally but it seems unlikely. Test anyway to be sure!

    I was on the depo shot I'm 18 and the same thing happened and I ended up being pregnant but my doctor said it dosent really happen often cause it normaly takes a while to get out of your system I would take another test...

    Take another test and let us know! The 6th was like 3 weeks ago, if you were around 4-6 weeks that would have been WAY to early to test.
    Those tests (even pregnancy itself) are not instant it takes a while for your body to build up enough hcg hormone to excrete it in urine. A lot of people don't even test positive until after they miss a period because the hormone doesn't start to build up until after the cells fuse with your uterus.

    Take another test :) I found out when I was 2 weeks preg. Due to the fact that they add 2 weeks to the date of conception its tech 4 weeks I found out. I know that after u get off the depo ur periods will be really screwed up but it is very possible to be preg! I am preg with my second and got pregnant only 1.5 weeks of being off my pill.

    Heatherstarr....what kind of bc were you on? I was on alysse low dose when I got preggers
    I skipped a day though. Actually a few. But yeah :/ my ndoc said it increases chance of getting preggers

    My last shot was four or five months ago. I will definately take aother test.
