first scan and early bump

Got my first scan tomorrow that I had to pay for as my doctor wouldn't let me go to an early one. I've been so stresses as I had a miscarriage in April 2010 at 11 weeks and panicking like crazy now I'm only 8 weeks and 1 day. Will they be able to tell if everything is ok at this scan and is it normal to be getting a bump at this early stage?

    No this is my first. I did have a miscarriage at 11 weeks last year.

    Had the scan all is good it was wriggling alot and they gave me a due date of 27th october. Heard the heart beat and got lots of pictures.

    @hyperf1. That's awesome! How much dis it cost. Or will it be billed partially under insurance. Just wondering. I know states are different but I am on Medicaid in which they have yet to go above n beyond lol
