monistat 3 day.....

So I'm kind of annoyed...I went to the docs this week and found out it was indeed a yeast infection (yippie) lol...she prescribed me a one day pill...which I took right away because I was so miserable...after much reading and getting worked up I found out they normally don't prescribe this med while pregnant...long story short she prescribed two doses of the one day pill and after reading all the bad stuff (which I'm kicking myself for not researching before hand...I know how terrible it is please no lectures..) I only took the one pill and go figure it didn't work AT ALL lol....I'm giving in 3 days later and trying monistat (this is the first time I've ever had an infection) it is on my list of approved meds.from the docs but was wondering what you guys thought...or if it has or hasn't worked.for you...sorry so long :)

    U can't use the pill and the cream at the same time...they gave me a cream when I had one it will b ok

    Oh my god I'm going to have a heart attack....I didn't even think of that...I took that stupid damn pill three days ago and started the monistat 3 day tonight...I don't know what I am thinking lately I can't get it together...I just want this Freaking thing to go away....lord I'm going to worry all night now..I wish I never would have taken the oral meds...:(

    I've taken the pill twice. As I am prone during this pregnancy for some reason. Also have to remember that the pill is working on the discharge of the yeast infection which is what's going on inside, you're still going to have skin irritation that has to heal which is why you may still be having itching if that's why you believe it did not work.

    Don't stress I've used both at the same time or actually I use the cream while I was on antibotics for relief then once i completed the meds I took the 1 day pill for yeast infections caused by the antibiotics. Just an f y I drinkable yogurt are a life saver for issues with yeast infections, while you're waiting for them to be cured with medicine

    So how long is it supposed to take...I went to the docs wend and it took two days to get the results so the nurse just called in the script...so I never really talked to anyone about what she was prescribing, I just room it...so going off what the package said I thought symptoms were supposed to subside in 24 hrs...seriously this should not be so difficult lol

    Truth however it's the discharge that should subside within a complete 24 hours the outer irritation can take after 7 days later.... use outside relief cream i use the monistat cream outside vagicil doesn't seem to be effective

    Understood....that's what I will try...who thought something so little could be so ANNOYING lol....I do apperciate the advice...I'm tired of worrying about it lol
