spotting

I keep reading its normal but its really worrying me! This is my first baby and once I saw I began the brown spotting I worried so much at work.. but they say as long as its not heavy and blood.. brown just means old blood? I hope everything is okay... has anyone else been going through this right now?

    I've spotted before and it was brown. The doctor said it was due to intercourse 3 days prior and it was brown because it was old and takes forever to reach the opening. If you get too worried (its ok, I worry A LOT at everything) you can go to the er and say you are spotting and they'll give you an ultrasound.

    @AliH I haven't had intercourse just to make sure everything goes okay.. I'm waiting on my new blood test results this morning so hopefully my HCG levels are going up! My doc will not let me have an ultrasound until I'm atleast 11 weeks!

    I started spotting today with some cramping I'm 6 weeks I had a miscarriage my last pg I called a nurse she said its normal just keep an eye on it my first doc apt is Tuesday

    @rocknmomma yeah that's what I'm doing my doc made me take new blood tests right away to check my levels so once I hear if they are okay today I know I really shouldnt worry.. just being the first trimester so much can happen! Goodluck with your appt!

    I have my 8 week doctor appointment tomorrow morning. I know I won't be able to sleep because I can't wait to go and I don't know what to expect. Lol and its just a normal doctors appointment! I can't imagine waiting for news like yours!

    @AliH its horribleeeee I had to leave work and get a quick blood test to see results today! I'm 7weeks today and after this I'll probably still be worried until I get to see if the baby is okay! When will the worrying enddd ;) LOL

    I know how you feel! And then I worry about worrying. And I know its not good! I have no idea what happens at an 8 week appointment. But if I don't get some kind of ultrasound I'm going to tell them they have too. Because I just worry too much. Lol.
