false labor to real once and now nothing anymore. :(

I started false labor on Saturday by Sunday morning they started to turn around and contraction would come every hour and had some light bloody show. After around 36hrs it just stopped so I am frustrated and tired since I don't had a good night sleep for 2 days.

    @bkuneki did you change your mind about getting checked or you still don't want to? My appointment isn't until Friday and labor and delivery would not really be much help.

    @veteranswife my mom said my doc will want to check because I think I had my bloody show or lost mucus plug and having tons on contractions... if my doc wants to then ill let her...
    how far along r u? I forgot l&d isn't much help at all... I wish they were...to me they r just good for deliver not very helpful with labor lol

    @bkuneki I called my Dr and waiting for the nurse call back since contractions are back and other thing increased to see what my doc wants to do.

    Last night my back contractions got bad enough to wake me up so many times... I should of checked the times but I just trued rolling over and going back to bed..lol

    @bkuneki where I go are a few dr's so you leave a msg for the nurse and they call you back so I hope its soon if I don't hear anything by 5 pm I have to call the on call nurse I am a little pissy right now.

    @veteranswife they shouldn't stop them if ur close to or past 36 weeks... well my doc said that..maybe urs is different... idk
    I would not be in the mood for that either if u really wanna have ur baby now then keep trying to chill at home til ur water breaks or contractions r closer together...
    try everything to get them going lol

    With my 1st I stated contractions on a Tuesday and didn't have her till Sunday.I was so tired I had to get and epidural(just the shot) that was supposed to last 6hrs it only lasted 4 I passed right out for 4hrs woke up epidural wore off and started pushing.I had to get the epidural bc drs said I was so tired I would have nvr been able to push her out.I know its so hard but just try to relax,sleep or even if u can't sleep at least rest as much as possible.my 2nd was quick I went into labor and got to hospital they asked if I wanted the epidural I said ok I wanted to see if it would work that time they gave it to me and my contractions went away then they had to give me pitocin and it felt like I nvr had the epidural bc the pain was so bad from pitocin (I heard its not that way for everyone though) I had her and felt everything again.with my 3rd the epidural finally worked I didn't feel contractions as bad but I felt him come out(I call it the burn)my 4th I was induced and had to get the epidural that stays in ur back it was horrible I never want to do that again.he was 10lbs.im hoping by some miracle this one is under 8lbs and I wont need an epidural.sry for the long story once I started I couldn't stop.good luck to u.

    @lucky7 my first 2 were easy and all this now is new for me just hoping now it progress.

    @bkuneki have you seen your doc already? Mine don't want to have them stop but if its after 5 and I have to go in there is a small chance my doctor is on call but I will refuse the pills.

    if u doc doesn't want them to stop them tell the other pple that if its ok with doc then they can suck it and get over it lol

    Didn't check me because I said ibwas still irrated from the nurse so maybe next time or time after just to give me a break
    An she thinks my baby is a lil over 7 lbs

    @veteranswife just have me wait it out if I bleed more or contractions every 5 min lasting 1 min for am hour then go in or if water breaks go in

    Ugh I am seriously feeling your pain guys, I'm 9 days overdue and had false labor for 2 days staight, getting pretty peeved, but midwives don't induce, we are doing this all natural so I just have to wait and its making me crazy!!!!!! I have tried everything to make her come out and all I end up with are more irregular contractions. Sigh. Want. Her. Out. NOW!

    Not having my baby in the hospital, going to a birth center. The midwives did a nonstress test to make sure she is ok and i had an u/s this morning and she is doing just fine in there, she will probably be huge but oh well, they said she could be as much as 10lbs already. We will just have to see. It was my choice to do it this way, I knew it could be a possibility, but geeeeeeez I'm ready now lol
