Is it safe to get your nails done?

So I'm 14 wks and I was just wondering if any of you have gotten your nails done during pregnancy? I go to the doc next week and I'll ask him for sure but was just curious about you all... let me know what you think!

Yes as long as the salon is well ventilated.

I wouldn't recommend acrylic. The chemicals are very strong amd harsh! ! A regular mani n pedi is fine. :-)

Yupp ANY nails r okay u can see if they can make a home visit:)
because in your own home there isn't as many chemicals and vapors...
plus u can keep ur house well venataled (:

I wear gel nails it is being in the smell 4 extended period of times

Yeah that's the thing I worried about the strong smell that's usually in the salons. I think I'll take me my own big floor fan instead of using those tiny ones on the desk. LOL :-)
