idk try watching some natural births i dont think i am for an epidural because you have to get a cathider but idk if i can go all natural i am a wimp i think i might just go for general pain medication if at all possible
This is my first and I'm going natural with? Midwives. I feel like I have a pretty good tolerance of pain and I'm bit of an adrenaline junkie. Also just think the body is capable, has been the way since the start of time.
But will be done at a hospital. Just appreciate the reassurance of nearby feeling doctors, surgeons, nurses, and mostly reassurance of painkillers. Just knowing they're under the same roof will be a peace of mind.
Epidural lover here! My delivery was so calm and quiet. I was able to rest so when it was time to push I had so much energy! She came out in less than 10 min of pushing. I'd rather have that than be screaming in pain and not in control - which is how I would of been!
Same here. Once the epidural was in a slept for 2 hours, woke up and twenty min later was holding my daughter. Needed the rest bc I had been in labor for 18 hrs pain med free and was only 6cm. My dr made me stay on the monitor for close to 10 hrs so I couldn't walk around to help labor progress. My water hadn't broken either. Hoping this dr let's me stay mobile so things move along this time and I don't get so worn out. Maybe this time I can make it the whole time w/o meds
