5 weeks left n now I'm homeless

About a month ago I called the shelter hotline so I could b in a shelter by the time thse baby came but they put me on s waiting list I have used all my savings staying at a hotel till they call but still have nothing for the baby please pray for me and my family

    Have you tried your Church or local Battered Women's Center? They may have some suggestions for you or even talk to your OB. Prayers headed your way!

    What state are you in? Many times you can talk to a social worker and they will help find housing

    I don't have a church that I go to regular but I never tried the batter and abused. Center cause I'm not n that satuion

    May be wrong but I know a woman who lied to get into the battered and abused shelter. Nothing happened to bd either. Good luck! I hope things get better!

    Emergency housing. If they see u have a baby that puts u at the top of the list for housing!

    @jade_may9th You don't need to be a regular parishioner for a Church to help. They may know of families that have second homes and are willing to help by letting you stay there, people may be interested in donating baby goods, and they may even let you stay at the church. My grandfather was a minister and he would frequently let people stay in the nursery when they were in need. Also, you may be able to get a spot at the BW shelter if they have a couple open beds. I volunteer at one and they frequently help homeless pregnant or new moms even if they are not battered. I would also talk to your OB so she can get you set up with a social worker who can help you find shelter, food, diapers, ect. Please keep us posted.

    Temporary assistance to needy families is there to help u_!!! Omg there Is no reason for a pregnant woman to be homeless!!! Go and get some money!!!
