My first. Was emergency after 26 hours of hard labor....second I had no choice but to have c cection and. This will. B my third c cection I prefer it because no. Stress on baby its comforting knowing its not going to be long hours of pushing n pain
My first was c section after 23 hours of labor. Definitely having a c section this time too. I wouldnt even try vaginal delivery now if given a choice.
My first was c-section as well, Im too small down there. So this will be as well. At first i was bummed that i dont get to try but I do like to be in control of things and always know things.
I had two vaginal and last was emegency c section it sucked!! It was so much more pain and hrder to recover but this time I'm choosing to do it again because all my labors were long and I don't want to go through the long labor and have them have to do an emergency c section again... so this time I hope it will be a lot more calm and easier...
I haven't had a c-section and I hope and pray not to. I forgot about all the pain of labor when my daughter came out and pushing honestly doesn't hurt, its just a lot of pressure. I was up and my same old self in no pain within an hour after I had her I would rather do it vaginally myself, major surgery isn't appealing in my eyes, but everyone is different
@melissa ive heard it is a bad recovery. Personally i wouldnt choose to do it if i can deliver vaginally. But ive heard "once a c section always a c section" so it seems like u ladies dnt have a choice:( i wish u all luck!
@mommyoftwoprincesses thats rite! This is my first baby but i am not afraid of labor at all. I kno its a natural thing. women try to scare me n tell me horror stories n tell me im crzy for wanting to go natural but i dnt mind it at all. Mind over matter i kno i can do it
Yes you can hun!!! Just have to breathe and stay as relaxed as possible. Use as many things like the shower and a birthing ball if you need to! I was in labor just shy of 21 hours when I had my daughter and she is now 14 months old and im 30 weeks with baby girl #2! If labor was honestly as bad as some put it out to be, no one would be having any more children. Lol. best of luck hun!
My recovery was super easy. Was up within a few hours. But, like another lady said, once a c section...always a c section. The decision is yours, but unless you have to have one, I wouldn't choose to. It is major surgery. Good luck with whatever you decide!
I chose to have a c section. It was because my daughters head was to big for my pelvis, so instead of trying I just had a scheduled one. Going to do the same with this one. My recovery was smooth.
They said I was "too small" down there and gave me the option.. Womens pregnant bodys r meant to know and work with you during delivery and will open up for the baby...i gave birth to my lil girl vaginally and plan to do it again
My first c cection was hard after in hospital and out I had complications...but second it was awesome I went home was walking around doing things a lot easier second time around for pain etc
@mommyoftwoprincesses lol exactly! Thx a lot. N thats the way i see it women have been doing it for centuries. My friends mother in law gave birth to her 11 lb sound au naturale! If she can do that i can push out a regular sized baby lol
Yea i kno everyone has a diff pain tolerance. I mean even if u have an epidural i dnt see anything wrong wit it. N i kno a lot of women have to have surgery for medical reasons which i find very necessary. Im jus talkin abt someone who would decide to have a c section bcuz they dnt want to push a baby out vaginally for watever reason they have
It's a choice only you can make...along with the advice from your Dr. After watching my sister give birth, I'm so happy I had a c section. Everyone is different, has their own opinions...you have to choose for yourself!
my hubby was 13 pounds when he was born and is now 6'6 and 325lbs....im only 5'3 I'm thinking i either choose one or itll end up an emergency c section..either way i think ill have to deal with it.
@aidensmommy6911 so u feel like ur gna have a huge baby? Aww lol dnt feel like that. U never kno. Do they check the babys weight at ur ultrasound appts?
My pelvis was actually to small. It want that I didn't want to do it naturally, I was actually upset I couldn't. My pelvis bones were nit separating like they were supposed to (I was three centimeters and 70% effaced when the dr checked mgr at my dr apt, and scheduled one cause my pelvis wasn't separating) so not every woman can do it. Some of us don't have the bodies I guess. I'm only 5"
