  • NO..*gasp* I wish my breasts agreed! wld b cheaper, but each time I got engorged and mastitis. Blood flo in breastpump.. Complete trauma. It's very great if u choose too. I'm not even attempting, work schedule and teen kids are queasy with the idea.
  • I understand totally..the only reason why I'm doin it is because its cheap lol & I heard its good for me & the baby in the long run
  • I will try. I've been told to give it a good try for 3 weeks. The first 3 weeks give the best milk. But don't let anyone tell u that u have to. If you are uncomfortable or like @Jaime77 who didn't have a good experience don't push yourself. If pure not happy baby isn't happy!
    Good luck!
  • I am nursing for the first 3 months and then switching to bottlefeeding. Gonna use a breastpump though so baby can have breastmilk. Found great bottles called Breastflow that are shaped like the breast.
  • Thnx a lot.:)
  • & I hve also heard ppl tht breastfeed for a year..wow lol
  • Am gonna try lol. Hope I can :D with my 3yr old I couldn't felt pain n just stoped trying NOT GIVING UP THIS TIME :)
  • Well my boobs hurt anyway..might as well give it a try lol
  • I have my mind set on breastfeeding (i really hope it works out!) probably only for 8 weeks or so maybe more depending on how work and everything is going. Ive always dreamt of breastfeeding, im excited for the connection, and its.supposed to be healthier for baby and me.so why not? :)
  • Same here for me..bt I've been thinkn abt breastfeeding in public how can I cover my boob up ? Lol & plus I'm in college bt its around the corner frm my house lol
  • They have nursing bras and shirts to help with nursing in public. Also a light blanket can be put over baby while he/she nurses.
  • Would Walmart have em ?
  • I'm sure they do. If you have a baby's r us where you live i know they do. They also have a website.
  • Ok & I've also heard wearing low cut shirts would help too..thnx :)
  • I will be nursing this one as I did with my two older kids. They making nursing covers that go around your neck and then drape over the baby to keep everything covered. I loved mine with my 2nd child, made bfing in public a lot easier.
  • I cnt wait:) I was just curious because u knw some ppl look at u different bt idc lol
  • I breastfed my son for 14 months. It's great for both of you. You give the baby all those antibodies and studies have proven that breastfed babies get a grade higher in school than formula fed. I would say give it a shot. The first couple of weeks its horrible bc you have to pretty much train yourself and baby. But its so much cheaper and easier. You just always have a blanket with you you cover the torso shoulder area and just peek under the blanket to put it in babies mouth and do your thing while baby is feeding. You don't have to worry about lugging bottles and formula around having water and warming it up. And best off all less dishes to have to wash lol. So much more convenient.
  • I nursed my daughter for 15 months. The first few weeks are difficult, but its totally wonderful and worth it.
  • I knw:) wat abt wen some1 has him..do I breast pump & put it in a bottle?
  • im nursing my 11 month old till he turns one .. i think its great for the baby its best.. its been provin.. i think tye best i th antibodies that you give your baby... my son has not been sick one time.. and ive been sick a few times so i know it works.. but it is alot of work for mom.. not now.. but the first six months.. and my baby never took the bottle so couldnt switch him and believe i tried.. i think its great that any woman tries it.. even if its just for a few days or a week.. the collostrum is in the first few days suply and even i thas all you give them i think you did your part.. cuz thats the important stuff. good luck what ever you do.. honestly my next haby isnt going to breast feed tjat long because its o much work and i will be careijg for a 16 month old at the same time .. gettin the good stuff then ill decide if i want to continue
  • I'm going to attempt it again with this baby. My first two tries with my girls wasn't a success. I blamed it on lack of family support. They all thought I couldn't feed my babies enough because I am really small chested and took it upon themselves to bottle feed my babies. Well my boobies said different because they would squirt milk in the shower and soak up pads in no time!
  • I understand thnk u! Wat is the breastpump for ?
  • I'm am till I go back to work... I did with my last one but hated! Breast pumps which I couldn't even get to work right. And i neef more freedom too busy to have a baby chained to my boob lol Anyways I say at least give it a try! If you don't like it then stop! :) stress free is the key....
  • @CarrieLee same here my boobs were small bt Im in a 36 c nw lol
  • Thnx @ghettobetty bt I knw ima be lazy so I might give it a try lol
  • Breast pumps pump the milk and you can bottle it for others to feed baby for you while your not around or just bonding with others. They have different kinds. You really should talk to a breastfeeding specialist fir more info ask your doc! Or wic if you qualify.
  • Always worth a shot I loved it while I was home on maternity leave was great! But when real life started kicking in was a pain in my butt :)
  • Yea I'm on Wic..they r gna supply me with a breastpump..I was just wondering will the baby be confused with a bottle & my nipple lol
  • Breastfeeding is such a special bond that I will never replace. Its so healthy too. I had my son 10 days ago n have lost 24 pounds already from breastfeeding. There's lots of benefits that come with it. I would not choose any other way.
  • Its not for everyone but deff worth a try don't give up. Its very difficult at times and time consuming but you ladies can do it.
