update.brown discharge, should i worry

This morning when I went to the toilet there was some brownish snotty discharge when I wiped myself. I went to the hospital and they listened to the heartbeat and the 1st.midwife said to try not to worry, then the doc tells me its a sign of miscarriage . I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and now really scared. Has anyone else had this? Ok so its been a whole day with no more blood and no pain. Still have sore nipples and gas and have had some nausea today, so I'm hoping all is ok. Any thoughts? X

    brownish discharge is more than likely old blood. If its bright red or pink then it may be a little more severe, and thats only if ur bleeding heavy. I bleed/discharged brown blood until i was 9 weeks!

    Hm. Well I'm 24 wks and noticed I had some today... but when I had a miscarriage it was bright red and runny almost as if I was peeing blood... hood luck, I hope u n baby r ok!!! Put urself on bed rest! :)

    Thats what happened to me I was 14 weeks.and losing,my mucus plug. I had a miscartiage but I hope thats not what your going through! Make sure you keep seeing your dr good luck!

    I'm not in any real pain and the midwife said my cervix was closed...did you have pain @FirstTymeMom2B x

    My baby had no heartbeat at 14 weeks though so they knew I was.going to miscarry. If.your babys heart is.strong I hope nothings wronh! All o can say is if you keep getting discharge like that or.start bleeding get baby checked.asap. Good luck!!!7
