When I was 16. i was diagnosed with Thyroid condition. The doctor told me that I would never be able to concieve. There was woman in my family that had the same problem and they could no longer hane kids. That devasted me for my entire life. I even had boyfriends who broke up with me because I couldnt have kids. It was so hard. And when I got pregnant it was so unbelievable... I was crying for so many reasons... God works in mysterious ways....

  • I was told I wouldn't have kids or it would be extremely difficult to conceive...I'm now on number three...and number three was a total surprise..so not so difficult after all lol I was sad my whole life thinking I couldn't have babies..i look at my babies and still can't believe they are MINE sometimes... docs don't know everything that's for sure. Congrats on your miracle!
  • Yes he does cause when I was 14 I was told that me and my husband couldnt have kids .we tried for 5 years we had or first child on my 19 birthday. Five years later on christmas we had our 2nd child iam now pregant with our3rd. So god gives us things when he thinks we are ready not when we want them.when I look back we got married young,so maybe he thought that I wasnt ready at that time. We are still happy with what god gave us.
  • God is so good and I am so happy for u and I am a strong believer tht God blesses us when he no we are ready for the blessing.
  • I was told at 16 that because of my endometriosis that i could never get pregnant and that i should just get a hysterectomy to get rid of it but i refused because i still wanted to at least try when i was an adult....since i did not want to do that they wanted me on bc....my dad didnt want me on bc so finally after i turned 18 i was put on birth control and 3 months later i was pregnant i am now on my 3rd and last pregnancy!!! God does work in mysterious ways
  • Wow mommy of 4 me too i have endo.also n they.said the same glad i didnt.do it.cuz i got ,2 beautiful kids n one on da way...n i was told ill never have kids
  • I have a thyroid problem. I couldnt get pregnant till I got on meds and meds year later im prego. Thyroid issue like fertility are able to be solved. Just take levothyroxine. Im 2 months
  • I was told due to my Endo I had a 2% chance of getting pregnant, a year after a 9 month chemically induced menopause just before scheduling my hysterectomy, I got pregnant. I've had 3 pregnancies and now have a 2yr old girl and a boy due in April
  • I WAS TOLD LAST YEAR THAT I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN AND IT WOULD BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE OF MY HORMONE IMBALANCES.. MY DOCTOR PRESCRIBES ME LIKE FOUR PRESCRIPTIONS THAT HAD SIDE EFFECTS OF DEPRESSION SUICIDAL THOUGHT AND A BUNCH OF BS... I DECIDED NOT TO TAKE ANY.... THAT MY BODY CAN FIX IT SELF... HERE I AM NOW WITH MY FIRST PREGNANCY AND I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT IT...
  • I conceived my daughter after a full year of fertility drugs.. after her my doctor said it would be nearly impossible for me to get pregnant without medical help again because even after my daughter my hormone levels were still too low to ovulate. My body didn't produce estrogen like it should. So with my 1 in a million chance of getting pregnant I went off the pill . 4 weeks later positive test. I guess miracles do happen!
  • I was told it was be extremely difficult for me to conceive and/or sustain a pregnancy due to a blood disease that I have. I was scheduled to see a fertility specialist to run some tests next month... well, I got pregnant without a hitch. I just hope I can stay pregnant.
  • Am so happy for u its such a blessing. YAY U!

Congratulations....being told you will never be able to have your own biological child is some of the most devastating news you will ever hear, god knows I've had several docs tell me that. We were even treated with fertility drugs and still didn't conceive. I have severe endometriosis and pcos. I would go months without periods and was told I was antiovulatory (which means I didn't ovulate period) hence the fertility treatments. After 4 years of trying I gave up on ever bearing my own child and we were beginning to look into adoption cause we thought that was the path god had chosen for us. Glad we didn't get too far because during an emergency room visit back in Oct, we found out I was pregnant with our first. We have still discussed adopting one after this baby, because we still believe that's in gods plans for us. I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy and baby.
  • My sis n law was told that they would never have babies, but a doctor worked with them. She has pcos, but she is now 8 months pregnant with my little niece and is so excited. My hubby and I are ttc. We haven't had any luck in th past. Prayer works though so we are hopeful! :)
  • All ladys that have endometriosis they.say once u have a baby it.helps ur endo ..n will be able to.pregnant again....i knw.that lol am on baby #3 ,,n i just had a baby feb2010 now due july 2011 also have a 7yr old
  • I was never told I wouldn't have kids but was diagnosed with severe endometriosis when I was 24. By the time I turned 30 I was giving up on the idea of having kids. In july my dr suggested when I was ready to put me on some medicine (I can't think of the name) to put my body into menopause and when I came off it I should be able to get pregnant. In october I got pregnant naturally without ever going on the meds. It took me 2 home tests AND going to the dr for another before I believed it! Lol congrats to everyone and your little miracles!
